Gah! "These" biotches man! They do my nut in! And, still with the lead not explaining fully after being blackmailed... Promote clear and healthy communication in relationships people, purr-lease!
What do you mean by ugly ? Says who? Ashamed of using their real pictures on profile. Got Inferior complex right…
Being from an older generation is no excuse for being homophobic, and I'm saying this as a parent of an adult myself.
Most who find out about him, are peeps like myself, that have watched him in something and enjoyed it, and then gone on to research what other things he has been in, with the intent to watch those films/series, but then found out the negatives about him; so it's not a stretch that they'd then comment on his main page and on any new media that popped up with him in. And, not every one would know about his personal views, which I'd be grateful to learn about here from reading user comments, instead of not knowing and remaining ignorant; that way others can then decide for themselves if they're going to support anything he's in or not.
Putting this in a spoiler just in case, even though it's explained in episode 1 (it might not be an answer that…
Yeah, I felt bad feeling that way, as I knew loads loved it, but I had to wait until it popped up on YouTube, as it isn't showing on my IQIYI. Sadness infiltrated my Inta feed too, because the same week Charlie "died, The Sign was like "Gah!", and I think, I Feel You Linger in the Air was also; so such a traumatic week for peeps that were watching all three, when two for me was stressful enough. I mean, I was sad for Babe, but I presumed it was going to wreck me too, so kinda disappointed it didn't. lol. But, yeah, Alan and Jeff were my faves as well! I kinda thought Way and the other guy were going to end up together, but then Way tried to rape Babe, and that just changed everything I felt for his character, even though the "best friend waiting game" rarely works out for the one-sided party, I still felt sympathetic towards his character a bit. I much prefer the, "Look, I know you're sorry, and I forgive you, but you're not going to actively be a part of my life from now one" arc; though it's rarely done, unfortunately most bad actions like that get forgiven with no legal percussions, which is a whole 'nother level of 'things that should be addressed better in dramas'.
It's not out yet. It's the TV series, that's set before this one, that's on Netflix.
My previous comment was in response to someone asking if there would be a season 2. It says in the description this is set 10 years after, so obviously it's a continuation of season 1.

Yeah, I finished all of season one the other day. I understand the scent thing, but I still don't get Babe's attraction to Charlie. I did warm up to them as a pairing a little, and accepted they like each other in a unexplainable slightly cringey way. I mean, in their everyday interactions, I just didn't see the chemistry. I did like the reverse roleplay they done, in the locker room, though it still was a little cringey, but they "get each other" I guess so...; that's what warmed me to them as a believable couple. I felt bad for Babe when Charlie "died". I much preferred Alan and Jeff as a couple honestly. All in all, I guess I just found Charlie's character/personality as rather meh, and his gestures were kinda cringey, and not even dorky cute, just a little weird, in a way I can't explain properly. Babe's happy with him, so that's awesome; I just don't get Charlie's appeal. lol
I'm not talking about the body swap, which is totally different, and nothing to do with sexuality. I'm referring to what he said about his personal preferences, as he said, "I don't care about race, religion, skin color, or sexual preference.", and pretty sure, if I'm remembering correctly, that that was even before tue body swap occured.
They are, on YouTube, but sometimes the odd word is the opposite of what it should be. Like "me" instead of "you" etc, but it still makes sense what they're talking about. Although, I only noticed the issue with the first part of episode 6, and not before then; I'm only on part 2 of episode 6 now, mind you.

Ah okay. I understand what you mean now. Thanks ever so much for explaining, I really appreciate it! My Mandarin is very minimal, like my Japanese. I'm much better at Korean, and getting better at Thai also, but with Mandarin I'm mostly focussing on pronunciation of names and places; as I'm reading a Chinese book series, and my book is sprinkled with notes. lol. Thanks for your other comments below as well.
Just on episode 2, and I don't usually have any problems with couple pairings at all; hell, I even came around to liking Pete/Vegas together, weirdly... But, I just don't get why Babe likes Charlie; like right from the get go, I don't see why he'd give him the time of day, let alone the opportunity he did. Their kissing is on point, but beyond that, and the fact that Charlie is a smidgen witty at times, I just don't see what Babe sees in him; Charlie doesn't seem to have any charisma at all, and out in the bare minimum, but still somehow managed to score Babe. It's baffling. Are Babe's standards that low, though Charlie is the first "boy" he's let stick around...why though...Babe's not even being cautious as to having him around, or leaving him unattended at his place. Every one else around Babe seems to have way more of an interesting personality than Charlie does. I know I sound meh for Charlie, 'cos I am, but I'm hoping my opinion of him will change; or I'm just going to end up watching to ship Alan/Jeff. Who seem way more interesting together, so far.
And the episodes are longer, so there's only 16 episodes in total; Netflix tends to do this with K-Dramas when they're around 30mins long, to bring each episode up to around an hour.
No matter how many times I watch this, I still can't get over how annoying the FL's mother is. Saying the ML and his sister are practically worthless because they don't have parents. Okay, one of their parents is dead, and the other is absent, but they're both grown adults. Even the FL is nearing forty, and yet her mother is still trying to control everything she does. I know there's cultural differences, but come on; I would have moved in with ML if I was her, or his sister. What's just as ugh, is the breakup, her getting a new boyfriend, and then the ML and FL getting back together. FL should have stayed single or...what is it with dramas and one half of the couple goes abroad for a while, and then zero communication happens between them, even if they don't break up and stay together; it's so bizarre, frustrating, and the inevitable time skip annoys me so much. If it wasn't for the ML, I wouldn't be here...again.

One problem, thoughout the whole series, so far. Why would you assume I don't know anything about language and culture barriers, or do you mean differences? Culture, language, and/or differences don't excuse homophobia. It's not like the Chinese government, same-sex censorship, and their laws against gay people are a huge secret. I didn't justify anything. I didn't justify anything, but it does sound like you're making an excuse and justifying the existance of the homophobia in that scene. She literally was talking about his sexuality, and it rubbed me the wrong way. You feel a different way, fair enough, there's nothing I can do about that, or care to; but I'm not going to change my opinion about that problematic scene.
Hi, no - it starts in Finland and quite a lot of episodes are done in Finland so much so I had the feeling I do…
Hey! Yeah, in the last 15 minutes of episode 1, they mentioned "Hull" a lot, and yep, snooker is pretty big in England, along with ten pin bowling, golf, darts, and some other sports. Thanks for the extra information, much appreciated!
