I totally agree, to be honest when i was reading the book it also felt like why is this even in here because it also came from nowhere. I thought it would be referred to in the show but not the focus of the last two episodes. Ep 14 was 40 mins of funeral/crying. I feel like that they could have wrapped funeral/aftermath in ten mins and the moved on. Overall they did a good job with the series however they should have deviated somewhat from the source material to tie in with the trajectory of the story.

I don’t think I need a season 2. I loved the actors and they did a great job but the story was poorly executed by the producers and the writing left me wanting. Overall it was good enough to keep me entertained but somethings just didn’t make any sense like attempted murder on two occasions, unresolved mental health, questionable professional bullying etc. I can live with a special 😂😂🤣.
