This last episode was so triggering for me as someone who went through domestic violence in my marriage. But so much so where the victims parents chose not to let her in. In 2019, I went to my dad asking him to support me when I wanted to get a divorce, I had the support of my mum but my dad didn’t agree, I couldn’t bring myself to tell him the horror I was going through so I couldn’t really blame him. My mum eventually told him some just before she died 2021. When I eventually went to ask for his support in jan of this year, he had tears in his eyes hugging me and giving me his full support. That was the confidence I needed to pull through and now I’m just waiting on my decree.. I was fortunate to have supporting parents So this episode had me in tears and how it took almost losing my life to walk away, for my sake and for my kids. The victim’s fear resonated with me so much and also my ex had money and power and thought I wouldn’t be able walk away and take him on but I did and even getting full custody. I feel this drama is highlight life in real time not just for women but also men. The episodes that show vindictive women who feel entitled. It highlights the very realistic of the battle of divorce.
7.0 rating!!! Seriously? I was planning to watch it but the rating made me change my mind. Well should I watch…
The people giving bad reviews are mostly those that don’t like they made changes from the novel. It a good drama, don’t mind the ratings. I don’t know how people haven’t realised that there willl always be changes when an adaptation is made to screen.
I’m lost!! What is the reason behind this stupid revenge. The king is not responsible for the stuff that happened during the war. Then she joins hands with the person responsible for almost killing her using the death of his father as leverage. His father wanted Lee In dead!!! He was plotting treason!!! Why are they acting like it was an unjust death!! Then to make this worse, the one eye patch guy reveals his reason for revenge and I almost broke my screen!! Seriously?? Someone in the part of the Qing court told you Lee In was responsible!! The enemy told you?!! That’s it? Who wrote this nonsense!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬
So I have no issues with ep 9 until the very last scene, typical kdrama stupidity, what is that cannot be said over the phone. I mean, it’s not like it was something Yi Joo could not hear. Idiotic BIL, seriously. I just could not watch the preview for the last episode!
If I hear about the niece thing one more time, I’ll scream!!. I just hope they don’t end up ruining this drama, it started off so well, even with I think 4 couples now. I need their relationship to move quicker, now there’s another one trying to but in.
perhaps you could contribute more ? (hopefully something new, insightful and positive, not just rote repeating…
Come on, what’s with the hostility, I’m definitely watching. it was a glitch on my end. The last post I saw was from 9 days ago even after I refreshed the page, that’s why, my bad. It didn’t update until you guys posted a reply. It’s really not that deep to make such a comment, especially when all I did was ask a question.
