One thing I didn’t quite get? Why didn’t Jang Hyun get recognised by the king. They would have all died if he didn’t get involved. But it seems they all got rewarded except for him. I don’t understand why that was? Even when they found out he was still alive.

It took me 3 attempts just to watch the first episode but gosh I’m so glad I kept at it because wow!! This drama is super solid. I watched all 7 episodes in one go till 3 am.
I’m not really into war time dramas but this one just clicked. I’ve never shouted run!! So many times at my iPad or shut my eyes tightly so the women don’t get seen or caught by the barbarians!!
Solid acting by the entire cast. And yes, I had a “ girl pls stop and get over him already” moments🤣🤣

I think for me the problem with the divorce case started with lawyer wu. If she knew wand was one of li guang’s investors, she should have removed mujia from the case immediately. There was a conflict of interest right there. Instead both lawyer wu and li guang played her.
This is basic ethics rule as a lawyer and lawyer wu broke that rule. She basically but the interest of one client ( because he is a bigger fish) above the needs of another client.
At this point, if I were mujia, I would take a step back from this relationship. This is not the first time li guang has put his interest above mujia’ s work basically using her. She works so hard so that they can have equal footing in their relationship but instead it’s getting worse.
I don’t think they should break up but I think this is the point where mujia needs to do something to let him know there are certain boundaries that can not be crossed. And he needs to realise he could actually lose her if he keeps this up.

I knew this was bound to happen. TR has become quite forceful. She’s gone crazy about selling houses and I knew she would demand something from muijia that she won’t be able to do. I’m sad about this and I hope the reconcile later but I also think there needs to be a break from their friendship.

So is it that we don’t actually see any intimacy between them. I was quite surprised and kinda disappointed we didn’t see a kiss in ep 18.

Every time she mentions his illness, I burst out laughing 😂. He looks confused each time and she is genuinely concerned he can’t have kids and would do anything to cure him. I’m like where did she get the idea that he had an “illness” from? 🤣🤣🤣. And FSF is one of my favourite actors, those eyes should be illegal across all continents🤣🤣

What’s with the age gap horror? They are both adults. LM seems even more mature than her age. I love them together. And she’s no pushover either, their banter cracks me up. He’s very respectful and never crosses her boundaries. Reminds me of dating in the kitchen.

Exactly! I think the chairman’s reaction to her didn’t help either. Also she had told him in the last misunderstanding where he thought she would break up with him that she’s in charge of her future and she’d rather leave.
Nothing big happened that would cause her to break up, they were happy until the last scene.
