Its not like im going into longest promise page n bash it. Current up to ep 26 on tlp 36 destined 20 somethkng eagle snow lord n 18 for this series.
So im doimg what i want n enjoying watching the series for entertainment. Stating facts about fans of other stars etc badmouthing other series have happened countless times.
If i remember correctly he got infected with the power or something and wanted to world domination. N then his wife the queen were close friends with the dragon king but dragon king secretly loved her since he saved her. So king gets jealous when they hang out n thought she never loved him. So he try his best to destrou god of sea n merfolks. Thats what happened in mirror twin cities.
Also sumo is main character in mirror twin cities n new god of sea or his reincarnation or something i forgot which is zhu Yan adopted son then he learns dark magic in mirror .

But with these donghua being made into live action of it has like multiple seasons. U know 40 ep live action isnt going to do it justice unless they cut alot of back story or character progress.
Kinda worried about a mortal journey unless they make 80 episodes
Soul land was badly compressed for live action.
So far best donghua to live action was like one upon a time spirit mountain, blood of youth, battle through heaven even tho alot of changed it was actually good.

Thats reason why drama dont do as well as american or kdrama. They dont put aa much into budget for cgi when a series is heavily cgi focused. Wuxia series with cheap cgi makes it look worst then the 80s 90s ones. At least 80s 90s series have good action scenes n sword fight choreography.
