So did they say how far this will go? Donghua has like 3 seasons 70 ep or so? If they do 80 episode split into 2 40 ep seasons will be enough but not sure if they gonna go and finish story will seem too rushed if its 40 episode n cover all of current donghua.

Love the way leo screams when bai lu was smacking him with the ruler or way he laughs at her lol.

I mean theres alot of dramas that seems high budget but with censorship and now they reviewing every drama again since the comedian incident alot of these big shows r being delayed for years.

I sorta forgot but i believe the main leads here adopts main male lead from mirror twin cities. So this series prequel to mirror by like 50 years or couple hundred forgot.

First series came out 2019 almost 4 to 5 years already. If they make sequel will still be release probably end of next year that is of they start filming this year. Filming usually takes like couple months up to half year usually. Then post production . Now with all these censorship etc will take lile another year.

I believe yang yang has a mortal journey about to start if they follow the novel or donghua itll be alot of episodes or season unless they combine the storyline n make one 40 ep season. But wont do series justice. So if the company producing is planning long term season with same cast yang yang will be busy with this one series. Hopefully they make multiple seasons instead since donghua is so good.

If these companies partner with netflix amazon prime etc sell rights whatnot wont that help eliminate censorship? Like i still c word of honor love 020 despite main leads being blacklisted so i think the chinese government cant stop netflix etc.

Not sure I remember comment saying company went bankrupt. We never got teaser trailer or anything. Seen some random video but it doesn't look like the series will do well. Especially it's been couple years being shelved. Cgi background etc will probably look bad.
