I notice recent wuxia series that aren't jin yong or gu long etc there cgi r usuallu just clear chi. No cool explosion or colorful orbs blasts or lots flying swords

I love watching jin yong series. But i just wish they are hollywood level cgi budgets. I rather they remake same story etc but add more depth to character's, fights, etc.

Im enjoying this series and didnt watch th3 donghua. But having seen alot of xian xia series this one doesnt have epic moments and the dialogue at times r redudant. Its good they have team work etc, but looks rather lame when there just standing ther3 while ts give orders n no enemy attacks. It shudda been run around arena cover one another and coordinate attacks and showing actions ascenes and characters moving instead of being stationary.

World of Fantasy is all over place. Mostly useless flashback talking so much potetial also wasted for cliffhanger ending.
Battle through the Heavens gota be best so far in terms of action scenes cgi character interacting training arcs etc cliffhanger ending n no s2.
Legend of Chusen, Fighter of Destiny, Dance of the Sky Empire, Once Upon a Time in LingJian, Legend of Zu 1 n 2, are similar with smart leads, cultivation going to school etc. They arent best but all these series are worth a watch.
