I think they need new cast for Tang San and Xiao Wu.

Like the tv series tang San goes train with his dad, then he goes meet his tang clan, and unlock the true powers of his blue plant which transforms his appearance to be more beautiful. So it's like 3_5 yrs time skip so they need different actor to play true emperor tang San . And he unlocks more power and rings. It's crazy. Watch the anime since we don't know when this live action will continue.

Xiao Wu also looks more sexier after time skip.

The kid felt a powerful force outside so didn't make a move. Then found out it was peach blossom God of sword. And was scared to make move cause God of sword was protecting xfn for being distance relative n owing his mother. If he were to fight God of sword of probably wouldn't have time to ascend. Or be too injured too. I honestly thought xfn was gonna go in and ascend or also cut thru the gate

I would've expected this to be made by tangren.... Would've been cool if they got original cast to play the adult characters, liyifei playing lingers mom, hu ge playing the drunken sword master or even the main villain.

It's worth watching . I watched this before watching the anime. Anime is way better. Explain more stuff in details, and time skips etc.

If they didn't change the whole reborn and scenery set piece compared to anime. Series would've been better. In anime it looks like it's set in a final fantasy type setting.

I think xu Kai should play Tang San. They need find someone sexy to play xiao wu since in anime there's like couple years time skip and their appearance changes

It's like the anime. But live action had to cut their development. In anime they met since I think six. So at first it was like brother sister protecting one another bc they had no other family . Then later time skip xiao wu knew she loved tang San while tang San toke while even tho the others in group kept hinting it to him. He's noob when comes to relationship.

Chinese companies should copy Hollywood . Like since this was post pone for so line get actors back and reshoot scenes, edit fights to be better, same with CGI etc.

Zl is good actress but wx already played cute xao wu. She fit role . If they didn't change alot of story n time skip compared to the donghua the live action would've been better.

Should've kept setting in the fantasy or final fantasy style costumes and back ground set.

When series came out leo wi got so much back lashed and said he won't return. He didn very good job and fit the age and description of character. It wasn't his fault the live action didn't follow the donghua.

Look at what happened to Soul Land. That wasn't good as battle through heaven live action.

Hopefully this new season can remake the three year engagement fight like the current donghua and hope they put alot of money into the CGI and fight scenes.

I think alot of wuxia and xian xia shows should be wide screen like The Legends or No Boundary. Makes it looks more cleaner and cinematic Hollywood ish

Yea well since with all remakes . These companies gotta put more budget into cgi and fight scenes. People don't want idol drama with mediocre acting to push these actors. Watching clips of the tvb 97 version and fights looks more cleaner.

Well it for Felix it would've been age different or gap irl. Hu Ge like mid 30s so playing older guo jing makes sense while fasting like Xu kai to play yang guo.

It's like when Alex su played wuji then played wu ya zi in demi god, or Michael miu yang Kang playing Huang yaoshi, or Chris lee yang guo came back as Huang yaoshi, alot of a list played cameos even Zhao liying cameo as mnc in romance of condor heroes. It's just fun seeing previous actors come back for cameo appearance.

We need see hu he jump back into ancient or dramas already. Would be nice to have Wallace so little Chinese paladin reunion.
