Drama is one of best IMHO. I believe this drama set the bar for rest of palace dramas.

I'm actually rewatching it rn on YouTube. Fight scenes and stuff beats today palace drama. Now a days there's so much filter brightness etc . .

Don't get me wrong there's alot of good palace drama now a days past couple years but they become they same cliche story, poison this concubine, pretend to be pregnant, someone gets sexual assaulted and becomes villain etc. ..

Watch this series if you haven't whole cast is very great especially hu ge. So sad he doesn't star or act in recent years.

So there's Chinese paladin 1 remake, Chinese paladin 4, and now this one. Wonder if they gonna remake Chinese paladin 3 as well and make Chinese Paladin 2 since they skipped it.

I think people keep complaining bc another actress they liked was not chosen. I persona seen all her drama she has range but keeps getting type cast in most similar roles.

All current actress are being type cast in same role but there fans don't complain since there hardcore fan. Just enjoy the series once it airs. It's not like she's a noobie actress.

I think he started liking her already. Then when he find out who she was it made it more apparent. He likes bickering with her, hearing her perspective on cases etc

I agree but u can already see this coming. Especially the way qm acts. Qiu yan told her to live with her but she was being all noble etc and turn her sister down while the other aunts went except her bio mother n qiu min. I knew this was gonna happened once they got into royal academy n the fatty saw her. Then went she went to get firewood I knew it. In these ancient drama these scenes are always the push that makes them turn evil etc.

Yes he's a versatile actor. He reminds me of hu ge and Wallace huo. Both are versatile . Xu Kai should keep playing in these roles since it suits him very much . Don't care about the type cast since he plays each role very well.

They probably sorts of want to spend more time edit this one better then they did with mirror of two cities. I don't get how this series is 50 while cities was cut down to 43 and it was so so rushed and edited badly from start to finish.

Yea it is. The story is good. Wish the fight scenes were done better but it was ment to be gamey. Ost is one best too.

The live action soul land was really sad since I liked the actors that all played the roles. Compared to battle through heavens live action soul land was bad. Ive watched better CGI and fight scenes in older power rangers series.
