Mirror had good casting but everything went down hill during middle. They keep repeating same lines or stuff us viewers know already.

Main leads keeps getting hurt back n forth n foreshadow his future. Some of villains did things just cause really no good motive.

Hope this one has better pacing stay consistent with story instead of jumping around to different side characters.

I think that's one of problems with mirror twin cities was they kept focusing too much time on secondary couple n little love triangle. N just rush things probably bc it was during pandemic when it was in production . Also CGI was very bad for today's standards. .

Since pandemic been dying down I feel like alot of dramas r getting back up or production team have more time to edit etc reshoot

Yes it's good. Fights are l nicely choreographed. CGI in there bits it's minimal and nice. One of best wuxia series in years.

The casting is way too old for these characters.

U can't really compare main female lead here to other dramas since like others stated she is already top martial artists in Jiang hu, while the other dramas the other main female lead had to train etc. Those others series were good in there own . Feel like it trying to start a fan war or something.

Yep only thingy is I hope they do prequel. With same cast to show how they got to their martial arts level and journey etc instead of being told in short flashbacks.

This series is good not sure y all the hate. People gotta understand main female lead behavior and her journey to end she has alot of growth and character development.

All characters are good and there relationship are well acted etc. This series remind me of good old tvb days.

Currently watching and fight scenes etc doesn't disappoint. One of best wuxia series in years. Fight scenes look legit, CGI are good, casting scenery ost good.

Both main leads are already famous , no is 2nd prince from one of 6 kingdoms under the imperial family who lost that emperyam seal which whoever gets becomes ruler of the six kingdom.

Ml pretends be sick to run his martial sect and avoid his step mom queen from getting attention to become crown prince, since his father didn't crown one yet out of the 3 sons.

So story is basically everyone fighting for that token but basically it's probably a plot from imperial family to take out rest of the six kings n the main martial art sects so imperial family can rule with ease since there power is divided between the six kings and the martial arts world n sect.

Fml is top fighter as well n princess of another kingdom and uses fake alias as well but it seems like ml knows who she is and that's why he likes her n always help her since I guess he fell for her since they were kids.

Then main villain so far is that soul sect that is trying to create own army or something .

Last best wuxia adaption was heaven sword 2019. Demi God Semi devil and smiling proud wanderer was so bad.

So being first remake of Chinese paladin there shouldn't be pressure for the cast since alot of em were newbies as well.

This team on this have to go all out on CGI, fight scenes choreography, and ost. Maybe change some story around since cast list as jin yuan as main role, shudda been tang yi n ah nu in main roles

I watched like up to ep 30 of season 2 right now. It's more of ur typical palace drama. There's whole theme of family etc which is good but it doesn't feel like nirvana in fire.

What made this so good was all the plot scheme of main character to get the final episode show down between him and the emperor . It was big pay off.

Nif 2 after ep 30 I sorta stop. I'll continue to try watch it later .

Xu Kai is killing it. I really would like to see him play adult Tang San for soul land sequel.
