Yes. Prequel series was Mirror Twin Cities. This one takes place like 100years I think before that one.

But I believe I don't need watch prequel to enjoy this one tho.

Low quality but looks good

So reaching joy of life was wondering couple stuff this is from the drama so I'm not sure how different is novel.

Did his mom have like a reverse Harlem?

Is second prince from same place or have modern day memory since he always takes his shoes off?

They worship divine temple and showed painting of demon monsters so in novel do they fight monsters n demons in past or something?

Well I always enjoy seeing different actors play these roles and if they do the martial arts CGI etc better then previous adaption.

But lately each new remake gets worst n worst .

Like they would cast good actors. But CGI or story will be mess

I don't read novels either. But being promoted as wuxia I was expecting more adventures solving jianghu problem etc instead of ur typical palace cliche story .

See like if they did it something different like in Novoland Pearl Eclipse where it was palace drama but there wasn't really stupid a emperor or queen or concubine trying to poison someone etc or fight for throne. The story focused on the love struggle between the mainleads n second leads.

Or like joy of life where it's palace drama but was also wuxia and the palace people were actually interesting instead of following same palace drama formula

Like this series was suppose be wuxia focused more on jianghu the palace drama should've been like minor ones leading up to war or something instead of like 90 percent of the episodes .

I still enjoying it but really wished like others that it was just pure wuxia drama since we are lacking good one now a days.

Crazy. They have Chinese paladin 1 remake coming out, then Chinese paladin 4 in production, now part 6? Might as well continue with 7
