Demi God Semi devil had potential but wasn't good. Same with smiling proud wanderer. Fight scenes were bad n main lead didn't fit role.

I don't think u need too. They will at most probably name drop or mention some of the main from previous series but I don't think it'll be big deal. The old series were good but the CGI to today standards r bad but they were good n have some very good ost. Chinese Paladin basically started the whole xian xia bar. Hu Ge Wallace Huo Yang Mi LiYiFei Tiffany Tang Ady An Eddie Peng became even more popular from em.

Just watch em with open mind don't mind the cheezy CGI n fights I'll end up enjoying em bc ost n acting were good also.

Yea this series started off good. Then season 2 just felt draggy same stuff happening over n over people sacrifice etc die revive made those sacrifice less impactful.

I remember some people said if it airs on tv then it's limited to 40ish but a way around this is if they make each episode like an hr long instead of 45 min usually . But if it airs on streaming I believe it doesn't need to be 40 ep long
