It's the editing .. in one ep they went attack the liao camp then it goes off to show duan yi then back . I know the try give everyone screen time but edit it better.

And also the part with the miss mu and introducing the 4 evil seems way too long tvb version 97 I think all this 6 ep happened in 1 or 2 ep. This version dragged it on too long. And the 18 dragon palm still looks like graphics from 2000.

Is this series in production already or just waiting to be released? I know Chen yi still filming agarewood series with yang Zi ...not sure y they can't just get the old cast back han dong too old to play guili. This seems like a reboot and sequel

China should go back and copy tvb and have one major popular studio and have them collaborate other studios etc... So the Jin yong n gu long novels can be adapted and stay consistent with story telling like current Hollywood super heroes movies n tv shows.

So say actor that plays central divinity or chow bou tong in condor hero trilogies, someone to play roles for multiple series guess star etc.

Gu long novels will work well with this since alot of the series cross over with one another.

Like guo jing here could've been played by Hu Ge, since he played same character in 08 . Doesn't look too old but now more mature.

Wallace Huo could've guest star as DuguKabai since he played LingHuChong in 13 .

First 2 episodes out in YouTube with English subs. Pretty good wish they did better job with the cgi. I mean if u gonna release it now at least polish up the cgi. Pacing is pretty good introducing all 3 brothers and murong fun etc.

Well it's not deep like say untamed word honor etc. ...wuxia series emphasis on heroics, fighting for country, justice, love, martial arts etc. .. they barely meet in story but becomes brothers...most these series aren't going to deviate much and there isn't much interactions between the brothers because they have there own separate story arcs mystery being reveal etc.

No but brotherly love, the monk beggar and prince become sworn brothers and basically fight for life and death for one another.

Each individual get own story arc love interest martial arts training adventure etc.

Xu zhu monk and duan yi prince can absorb other people's internal energy as well

At end monk suppose be strongest if u don't count sweeper monk. He learns dragon palm and strongest internal of the brothers then it goes to duan yi prince bit he weak in martial arts and experience . Xiao Feng strongest bc he's genius in martial arts and has strongest dragon palms in all Jin young universes followed by guo king, Xiao Feng condensed the dragon palm to 18 compared to 20+. He would be strongest if he would've studied the Shaolin yinjin martial arts.

They have powers but more martial arts less fantasy.

Heaven sword dragon sabre 2019 one of best adaption...main guy learn different martial arts etc, journey meet different ladies etc.

I rather they take time and make the fight choreography good and whatever additional story they add in make it flow well and concostent with the story unlike 2014 ones alot story but could've been told better
