I think alot of wuxia and xian xia shows should be wide screen like The Legends or No Boundary. Makes it looks more cleaner and cinematic Hollywood ish

So what streaming platform? Or wetv ?

Yea well since with all remakes . These companies gotta put more budget into cgi and fight scenes. People don't want idol drama with mediocre acting to push these actors. Watching clips of the tvb 97 version and fights looks more cleaner.

Hopefully since they rushed demi god semi devil I hope this one isn't badly cut.

I don't get why these companies cant just go back and reedit the cgis fights etc? I mean these series were suppose to be out last yr u might as well reedit it to make it watchable.

Well it for Felix it would've been age different or gap irl. Hu Ge like mid 30s so playing older guo jing makes sense while fasting like Xu kai to play yang guo.

It's like when Alex su played wuji then played wu ya zi in demi god, or Michael miu yang Kang playing Huang yaoshi, or Chris lee yang guo came back as Huang yaoshi, alot of a list played cameos even Zhao liying cameo as mnc in romance of condor heroes. It's just fun seeing previous actors come back for cameo appearance.

We need see hu he jump back into ancient or dramas already. Would be nice to have Wallace so little Chinese paladin reunion.

Why can't we have people that do choreography like good old tvb atv days

No they are not. If u want know story I can spoil all of it

It's the editing .. in one ep they went attack the liao camp then it goes off to show duan yi then back . I know the try give everyone screen time but edit it better.

Also hope we don't get alot of screen time of the madam ma lady seducer instigator lol.

And also the part with the miss mu and introducing the 4 evil seems way too long tvb version 97 I think all this 6 ep happened in 1 or 2 ep. This version dragged it on too long. And the 18 dragon palm still looks like graphics from 2000.

Is this series in production already or just waiting to be released? I know Chen yi still filming agarewood series with yang Zi ...not sure y they can't just get the old cast back han dong too old to play guili. This seems like a reboot and sequel

I hope more series can have the wife screen effect or whatever it's called . Makes series looks more better like watching a movie .

China should go back and copy tvb and have one major popular studio and have them collaborate other studios etc... So the Jin yong n gu long novels can be adapted and stay consistent with story telling like current Hollywood super heroes movies n tv shows.

So say actor that plays central divinity or chow bou tong in condor hero trilogies, someone to play roles for multiple series guess star etc.

Gu long novels will work well with this since alot of the series cross over with one another.

Like guo jing here could've been played by Hu Ge, since he played same character in 08 . Doesn't look too old but now more mature.

Wallace Huo could've guest star as DuguKabai since he played LingHuChong in 13 .

Demi god semi devil literally did same thingy. They released trailer only couple day before it air.

Something china could be doing
Release series without anyone knowing so people can't give bad reviews right away

Her character is like that in novel . She never been in relationship

Yea but no romance just friends playing the game and the each battle is cgi characters of the actors in game so there's a ton of action ... Story really good too.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna air right after. Both series been shelved for whilem 2 eps of demi out already . And seems like it airs daily so there trying get series to end and continue with next one

First 2 episodes out in YouTube with English subs. Pretty good wish they did better job with the cgi. I mean if u gonna release it now at least polish up the cgi. Pacing is pretty good introducing all 3 brothers and murong fun etc.

Well it's not deep like say untamed word honor etc. ...wuxia series emphasis on heroics, fighting for country, justice, love, martial arts etc. .. they barely meet in story but becomes brothers...most these series aren't going to deviate much and there isn't much interactions between the brothers because they have there own separate story arcs mystery being reveal etc.

No but brotherly love, the monk beggar and prince become sworn brothers and basically fight for life and death for one another.

Each individual get own story arc love interest martial arts training adventure etc.

Xu zhu monk and duan yi prince can absorb other people's internal energy as well
