I should avoid comparing the manhwa with the series but....did they make Suhyeon's character a bit over the top. He loved and cherished Daon and he never been too harsh with him.
When most people hate Suhyeon but in fact he is just another victim of manipulation. His is madly in love with Daon and will do everything just to be with him.
The burn mark was explained in the novel. Tho it's not exactly how it happened in the adaptation. I vaguely remember…
Ohh, thanks for that info. Maybe I missed that part. The only thing I remembered was the conversation of SW with the Old Man regarding SW's relationship with his father and he ask Ding about the burn mark.

I think no official english translation available at this time. You can search for the machine translated version but it is sometimes a bit confusing to read. One version is available in Wattpad (A certain Someone/Mou Mou)
In my opinion there two characters in this story that has no redeemable arcs, and that's the evil father of SW and Qi Jia Hao.
With regards to JT's scar/burn marks there is no clear explaination about this in the novel. Even Old Man Ding has no idea how he got those marks because JT will not answer his questions regarding this matter.
On next episode I hope they will include the scene in the novel, where SW swinged his school bag against JT's father's face during their encounter at Old Man Ding's house. I think that is very satisfying to watch.
But of course we will first witness how SW become stressed after witnessing the kissing scene between Zhou Xi and Lin Bei Ting and how he screwed his exams causing him to be demoted to class B (an alibi to stay away from JT).
Regarding the ending I will go with the open ending theory to give way for S2.

In the novel as I understand it, JT's father, mother and the the "other man" was in the same school probably classmates. It is foreshadowed that JT's father and the male classmate was already in romantic relationship before he proposed and married his mother.
As I predicted...the dorm thief will let them sleep in same bed😄. And when the dorm mates back in the morning...boom!

Jiang Tian's parents dark past, the confrontation between JT & SW with his father Ji Huan, JT's Father and mother's confrontation at the hospital, the school Camping trip, and JT's 18th BD and the School Festival. This Season will end up with JT & SW being lovey dovey boyfriends officially (happy ending👃)
