i honestly hate it when xianxia dramas do extra endings or sequels taking place in the modern world. modern world just shouldn't exist in these stories. ever

It's nowhere near as "baby" as some other voices. Plus, it's not even that high pitched. I think they wanted her to sound really sweet for the first half before things got darker. I don't mind it at all, compared to other dramas where it's childish and forced. This one isn't. It's just sugary, that's all. Don't lump it in with the actually horrific ones. Compared to anime girly voices, this one is pretty tame.

I previously commented enough on things I didn't like about the drama, enough that it angered some people. I like this drama, so I tolerated the things I didn't like. I skipped the draggy parts. This drama isn't complete BS and doesn't deserve that label. I'm certainly not going to like every drama my favorite actors are in and have dropped many. Some just weren't my cup of tea. And some were bad enough to shock me. I can tell when actors pour their best effort into their scenes. And the main leads certainly did that, in my opinion, which I'm allowed to have. This drama isn't perfect. It's got many flaws. And many unnecessary scenes with certain side characters I don't give a crap about. But a BS drama? No. And the actors don't deserve this drama being called BS either. I'm a pretty clear minded person, and I see things for what it is. I don't protect anyone blindly. And I certainly don't praise a drama just because I like the actors in it. Love and Redemption, I enjoyed very much. But I also skipped a lot of parts I found draggy and ridiculous. In my mind, these two dramas are pretty much the same rating.

It's not killing him. And he's not acting for the sole purpose of pleasing you, lol. He can act in whatever he wants. You can watch whatever you like as well. Don't torture yourself next time, ok? It's not a bs drama, but it certainly isn't your cup of tea. That's ok. But you should chill. You're the one who made yourself watch 59 episodes. You only have yourself to blame :*)

If you're hating on the drama just because of ep 59 ending, that's not the ending. But since you already think it's complete bs, don't bother watching the extra episodes.

their love and bond doesn't need goudan as a symbol, is my point. Their time in that hut is their time. It doesn't need that symbolization in the form of a child. The lotus plants are symbol enough. Just name the plants Goudan xD.

It's not a question of whether they can have both. It's not one or the other. But i certainly think it would be good for them to spend alone time together for awhile. With a child, they hardly have time to themselves for a long time. If a kid happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Married w/ kids just shouldn't always be the go-to happy ending everyone seems to like. I'm a little sick of those endings. I don't hate on having kids. I'm just tired of this. As if not having kids means the love isn't strong or the ending isn't happy. Anyway, it's just an opinion I have on these type of endings. That's all. And like I said, it's an unpopular opinion that I'm allowed to have. I just want something new, something different. Ways to have a happy ending without bringing in a kid.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but, I don't care at all about goudan. Everyone else seems gaga for him to exist. To me, he's just a made up dream character who doesn't matter in the slightest. Why must they have babies? Am I just the only person who thinks it would be nice for them to travel the world, just them?

Take a look at the dramas he directed...they're definitely not top of my list. But, people do improve with experience and time, so fingers crossed.

It isn't our business, but here is some insight into exactly why these scandals affect their careers and the dramas they're a part of. It's because actors and other celebrities are in the spotlight. They have many fans. And fans...may emulate their idols. For that reason, celebrities become role models because they influence so many people. This is a cultural difference between the west and China.

If these "role models" do something like tax evasion...that is a no no. Sexual assault...that is a no no. Cheating scandals...the context does matter. It won't be nearly as drastic as tax evasion or assault. So I think at most, it might be delayed. Imagine letting someone who sexually assaults people stay in the spotlight, continue their good career, leading some people to think that kind of behavior is ok. (*cough)

In China, to be an actor, you must also be a model of good behavior. It's part of the package deal. Idol takes on a real meaning. That is something they accept as an important aspect of the fame. It's not like they didn't realize that from the start of their careers.

Season 1 was a good story but the acting was subpar for me. The fl had a permanent confused wide eyed expression like she's trying to be all kawaii. She's very pretty, but I feel like they just wanted her to look pretty and wide-eyed for the audience instead of doing actual acting. I don't know if it's her acting at fault or the directing at fault...maybe they just wanted her beauty to bring in watchers? I'm sorry. But every time I see her in a drama, it's always the same for her. It's made me hesitant to see anything with her as fl. I have nothing against her personally. I just think there's a slight issue with the acting. I hope she's better in season 2. IT's been a year since I watched season 1, and the thing that I remember most about this drama is Gulnezer's one facial expression.

if it wasn't rushed, and they went through it logically, I think they could have found some time while he was himself to find a way to lock up that mad part of him, or at least let him train to calm that part. I think the other Asuras, and his father, didn't go nuts because they let it be part of them, and they grew up with that madness. I think he couldn't control it at start because he's never really had a chance to....it being locked away and all. Like some devastating power, I think they could have made it so that everyone helps him to control it. But, looking at what actually happened, it's more likely that if there's extra episode, then YY will be reborn as nonasura as a way to solve the asura bloodline problem.

pretty sure they feel fine about it in afterthought, but not too happy either. It's basically my feeling. thinking logically, yes, we feel fine. But emotionally, nope. feels bad enough that rl sucks, at least let my fantasy be happy lol

I don't mind people who don't have favorable reviews. I've given them myself...and I've had many criticisms for IS. But..you are forcing yourself to watch something you clearly do not like... You don't need to. That's my point. If you've watched that many episodes already and still don't like it, why force yourself? As I said...time is precious. Instead of forcing yourself on something that's not to your taste, use your time and find something you like. Comment on it all you want, but, at least let it be about something you didn't waste all your time on, because then you're just wasting even more time on it. Does that make sense? Perhaps what I said seems like I'm trying to prevent people from having opinions, but, that's really not true. I just think it's silly to force shows on yourself that you can't seem to like. And that's all I'll say on this. It seems like I'm wasting my time telling you this.
