I'm actually desperate for season 3. I've been with the show since the first season came out, waited patiently for the second, and after so long, there's still no news of a third season?? After season 2 ended the way it did??

I really really hope that the third season comes out eventually :(

well he need woogyeom to cure his daughter. I dont know why that medical center didnt include the lawyer's daughter…
They didn't include the daughter because the evil chairman wants Lee Woo Gyeom to join him in helping him make a cure. He asked the Lawyer at the beginning of episode 5 to help him convince Woogyeom, remember? And the chairman said that if the lawyer convinces Woogyeom, then he'll put Minseo on the list. So he's basically blackmailing him and keeping Minseo off the list until he gets what he wants.

Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to read this very lengthy review. English isn’t my first language,…
Oh, wow! English isn't my first language either, but with the way you express yourself, I would've thought that you definitely had some kind of background in English!

I actually find that second-language English speakers often express their thoughts and writing in an even more skilful and vibrant way, with a greater focus on substance, which instantly elevates their writing beautifully. Not many people can do that, which makes you a very creative and talented individual.

I understand the frustration, honestly. I got ragebaited into writing a review after reading all these comments.…
Honestly, it's glaring obvious how vibrant the double standards are, especially with the points you've made. Someone called me a bitch beneath my comment after glossing over everything I said instead of engaging in meaningful conversation or interacting with my points. It just shows that when people are this comfortable throwing around misogynistic language in response to something that isn't that serious, then why would they excuse a female lead who is written like Yiyeon is?

Wow, I just read your review, and honestly, you've blown my mind. Just the way you framed everything so logically and with actual, factual points is amazing.

Are you an English major by chance? The way you write is extremely intriguing and hooking. You're a phenomenal writer, you seem like you write killer essays.

Looking forward to reading more of your reviews :)

The only thing I can’t stand is how quick people are to scream ‘annoying’ instead of engaging their brain…
I'm really enjoying your comments and actual, logical insights.

It definitely feels like that to an extent; people are hating on the female lead just because she's a female. I've seen a few comments saying that they only came here for Ryeoun, which fair enough- that's also one of the reasons I started watching this show. But they then complain about his lack of scenes. Hello, he's literally a criminal who is locked up in jail. What more can he do? Do they want to see him break out or something, or ignore the rest of the story just so they can stare at him the entire 8 episodes?

I'm convinced that if it was a male prosecutor, there wouldn't be this many hate comments. I've watched my fair share of shows where there are male prosecutors written exactly like how she is, yet there are near 0 comments on them. If you look at both sides, neither of the characters are wrong in their intentions. Context aside, a prosecutor wants to lock away a criminal who brutally killed 17 individuals, hell- majority of the show so far has shown that even the public wanted that outcome. His healing abilities hadn't been proven yet even to the audience, so what makes people think that that the characters in that show have access to that knowledge? I think that personally, she is acting the way she should be acting. Collecting evidence against him, trying to prosecute and lock him away. She doesn't have any kind of personal connection to him (not that we know of yet) nor did she know that the reason the attorney was fighting for him was because his child is terminally ill. So painting her as a villain for her lack of knowledge is just abysmal.

Plus, you could see that the moment she found out about Minseo, she finally understood why he chose to defend U-Gyeom. She's not a heartless villain, which is what the audience is trying to paint her as. She's just a prosecutor trying to do her job, someone who had no idea about what the other was fighting for. We can only see how she chooses to carry herself from here on out.

let people watch and say what they want. People that come here to praise are welcome too so why are people that…
And that's the difference between people like me and people like you. You refuse to engage with my comments or handle a conversation like a grown person, and instead resort to throwing around vulgar language when your ego gets hurt. Lol, it's hopeless to keep speaking with you.

Thank you for your comment! I 100% agree with everything you just said, you honestly put it better than me.

I've never gotten rage baited into writing a comment before. I don't think I've even posted five comments in all my time here at MDL.

Yes, there's definitely a difference between constructive criticism and constantly nitpicking a character. "Oh she shouldn't act like this, he shouldn't act like that, etc" Like who are they to say how a character should act? Why do they act like humans are all uniform individuals who should all follow a set standard for how they're "supposed" to act? Isn't that the point of fiction? To take a certain role and dramatise it a bit to entertain the crowd?

It's also a serious discredit to say that a certain character cannot 'act' well. I've watched almost 100 kdramas, and many of the cast here are veterans who have a wide and very successful body of work. They haven't reached such fame and respect for no reason. To say that someone cannot 'act' just because you dislike the way their character is written is objectively a very disrespectful insult. If the writers intended for the FL to be a snarky, nosy, and so-called 'annoying' character, then the actress herself portrayed it fantastically well. Personally, if her character really pissed off this many people that it ragebaited them all into logging in and writing a review just for her, I think she truly succeeded in the role she intended to play. It just proves what a great actress she is. I've seen her other roles in other shows and think she is just amazing with the types of roles she has played in.

And quite frankly, if the FL wasn't written the way she is now, would the show really be as engaging as it is now? Then people would complain that it's boring, that the leads are too rigid and serious, that it's not very hooking. I agree with what you said about people refusing to understand the context she appears in. Genuinely, people need to get that through to their thick skull and stop bashing her when she's just trying to do her job.

Where did I say criticising isn’t allowed? You completely missed the point of my comment like the rest of the unicellular-brained individuals in this section. There’s a difference between criticising and being an insufferable negative nancy who nitpicks over every little thing that doesn’t require the bad feedback. How about you go and watch your little kiddie shows instead of these grown up ones that are too mature for you to understand?

The drama is clearly not very appealing or something that makes you eager for a new season anytime soon—at least…
"Not very appealing or something that makes you eager for a new season". Were you born with half a brain? We're halfway through the damn show. People like you cannot be real.
On Bloody Flower Feb 13, 2026
Damn, all you MDL users are insufferable. Every time I check the comments of any drama, even if it's rated a high 9, people are whinging and complaining about every little thing. Like you're all film connoisseurs or something lmao.

If you don't like the show, then stop watching. Simple?? If the acting wasn't "convincing" enough or if a character annoys you, why not drop after the first episode and move on? Who put a gun to your head and forced you to keep watching? Why keep making yourself suffer and then making it everyone else's problem? Frankly, not every character is made to be a cookie-cutter version of whatever preconceptions you had in mind. And obviously, a drama is very different from reality, so I don't understand the meaningless complaints about certain things happening in the drama that would never happen in real life. It's fiction, ffs.
