Spoilers please.1. What episode do they get together?2. Any breakups. How much episode?3 Any love triangle?4.…
Well, I literally just finished the drama 10 minutes ago hahaha so I'll answer this while details are still fresh in my mind.

1. They literally get together in the first episode hahaha. They've been 'unofficially' together since they're 9 years old, it's truly a beautiful childhood love.
2. I wouldn't say they had a 'break-up', but at around episode 2-3, ML's mom kept telling FL that she doesn't approve of her, so to break up with ML. FL gets heartbroken and decides to let go of ML, but they can't stay apart from each other one bit so she chases him down in the same episode and they get married immediately after.
3. No love triangle, it's a very sweet and gentle romance.
4. It's a beautiful ending. There are of course heart-breaking moments, but the story is wrapped up so well that you won't feel the sadness or like something is missing- I cried tears of joy.
5. It is the best, most beautiful romance one could ever witness in a k-drama. As someone who has watched over 100+ shows, nothing can ever top WLGYT. It's the kind of real, raw romance that deviates from unrealistic notions of romance- you'll truly feel it in your heart.
6. It's set in the past and written from a very realistic standpoint, so kisses aren't all that flashy or toe-curling like you'd see in modern day shows. However there are definitely a lot of kissing/skinship scenes of which will always make your heart-flutter. Rather than focusing on simply the physical aspects of the relationship, there is a deep emotional intimacy that really enhances the skinship scenes.

Overall, this drama is absolutely beautiful and incredibly heart-touching. I have nothing to say really, but just know that it will be a real rollercoaster of emotions.

10/10 absolutely FANTASTIC drama.

It was definitely super heavy in the beginning and quite honestly? I almost quit in the middle of episode 2 as many of the scenes brought back incredibly traumatic memories for me. But I'm so glad I kept going, because the ending was so cathartic and beautiful. I sat there processing and cried for a while once the credits rolled in.

This is truly a one of a kind drama. I've never watched one with quite of a strong friendship as this one, and it truly healed some parts of my heart. I truly loved everything. The revenge was so satisfying.

Is it me or does the subtitles not match what they're saying??
OMG I'm SO glad someone else mentioned it!!
I understand Korean to some degree and I can say that almost half of the subtitles didn't match. They changed so many tones and nuances and specific adjectives in the subtitles that actually completely change the meaning of the scene which is really freaking annoying. Did Netflix run out of money to hire proper translators or something?

Person Park Yoon Ho
An actor for only two years and he's already nailed every single role he played so far. I've only ever watched him in thriller/action so it'd be interesting to see him in a romance, if he is interested in going down that route. I normally dislike romance but for some reason I'm so curious to see him in one. Maybe one with a similar vibe to Twinkling Watermelon or Summer Strike; a gentle, very lowkey and heart warming chemistry.

So excited to see his entire potential and range. I hope he starts getting main roles soon.

This is actually the worst Korean film I have seen in my entire life from the 100+ shows that I have watched. I never comment anything negative but I just can't keep quiet about this. I will say that there was solid acting from everyone involved, and the main reason I watched this was because it was full of my most favourite actors and actresses, especially Im Siwan. But I am sorely disappointed at the director and whoever decided this nonsense storyline needed to be portrayed on film. What a waste of everyone's time including these poor actors.

I FUCKING KNEWWWWWWWWW JINMAN WAS ALIVE I KNEW IT I KNEW ITTTT

There was just no WAY he would've killed himself that easily from a pathetic threat from the no-brainer Jeongmin guy. I knew something was off when he kept playing the recording of Jian's voice multiple times, as if to figure out whether that was really Jian's voice on the recording or not. He DEFINITELY realised it wasn't her (probably because she pronounces a certain word in a different way or she'd never be begging for her life in a position like that anyway). And also PASIN IS A MASTER OF DRUGS remember when he gave Jinman a drug that made him give off strong fever symptoms in the mountain that day? He can 100% create/administer some sort of drug that would make Jinman appear dead, I know those kinds of drugs exist in the real world too so I'm a million times sure Jinman took some sort of drug to make him look lifeless.

Also Jinman said something like "We'll let Jian decide from now on". This was all part of his master plan. He knew Jian wouldn't die so easily especially with so many people protecting her, and it feels like he definitely exposed her to this kind of situation on purpose to build her up for something far bigger. Which is probably going to be the defeat of Bale in season 2. GODDDDD I'M SO EXCITED the scream I let out when I saw Jinman in the end...I was literally in so much anxiety the entire show waiting for him to show up because I just knew his death wouldn't happen so easily!! SO EXCITED FOR SEASON 2 UGIUHUI3NHKJEVSSMSMS
