Does anyone know if the middlemans love storyline starts during bed friends? Because mai is the first one in the list of the supporting cast but hasnt had an appearance yet. I was kinda excited to see him in the cast before this even aired because i like the storyline of middlemans love more but i’m pretty sure they lied 🥲

Honestly I'd get bored by now if it was another show where nothing much is happening but I look foward to watch this every week.
A couple of things I dont like are how little screen time the friendgroup (minus jack) are getting. Like what even is the purpose of the second couple and the other friend? Also idk how many times they've meantioned how mean/strict gun is as a boss and how he scolds people and screams but they've never shown him act like that.

Sounds like a interesting job. Also no one coddles addicts irl as far as I've seen. And its not like he wont/doesnt get punished so I still dont get why you seemingly have such a dislike throwards him. Just because some open minded people online dont want his career to be completely destroyed doesnt mean he will just walk out of this scandel like nothing happened. The actress is way more likely to have a comeback in the entertainment industry than him.
Also the race card wasnt me trying to hate on white men. I was just trying to say that if we all just agree and never have different opinions than our governments etc. we would all be stuck in the middle ages. And with that I was trying to make a connection to the drug policies in most countries where people want reforms of existing regulations.

What I meant was you were assuming that he MAY have driven while under the influence when you simply cant know. You cant just assume that because there isnt any evidence (or even rumor) that he has. Also the person who commented after me said nothing about how the young female actress deserves to be harassed and cancelled. Idk why you keep bringing that up. Both of them deserve help (and punishment).
Also I respect your opinion and mine is just different from yours but I dont base all of my morals on what is considered legal and what is not. If everyone did that no one besides (white) men would have rights. And I know this is not what you were talking about. But as I said drugs should be decriminalized and addicts should get help and not punishment if they didnt put others in physical danger etc.. I know this isnt sth that can be settled in a comment section but this topic is so much more complex than legal and illegal.
Sorry for ranting but I'm studying social work and the way the justice systems in most countries treats addicts has been proven to not work.

Honestly youre not making a lot of sense. One person was drunk driving and seriously putting others in physical danger and the other is addicted to illegal drugs and hasnt caused any accidents. You cant just assume that he may have been driving while under the influence because you dont know. Its like assuming the actress with an dui takes other drugs. We dont and cant know.
Also said female actress made people lose jobs because of her actions too. Both people need help. I just think people mostly have sympathy with him because of the way sk society and justice system treats addicts. (Drugs should be decriminalized anyway imo)

I‘ve only watched the first two episodes and how is so much happening but i‘m still bored. I feel like its a shame that the show is so well produced visually but lacking when it comes to the plot. But maybe it will get better (the comments are saying otherwise).

And I just remembered some actress that was on stranger things talking about how she also got (sexually) harassed by a producer because he asked her for a 3 way. And that it actually considered sexual harassment. While krit obviously didnt go that far (yet) this situation is reminding me of that.

I get your points and yes he should stand up for himself but still krit is way higher position and in that position because he has connections and I think uae and the others know that fighting someone like that is difficult. And I feel like the power imbalance is still sth to take into consideration because its either get harassed or lose your job/have a harder work life. Oh and (spoiler for the next episode incase you didnt watch the preview) krit went to uaes tauma house without his consent as well so i‘m also taking that into consideration when talking about his extremely inappropropriate behavior.

While I do agree with pretty my everything youre saying I dont think krit is just merely showing interest. He is being extremely inappropriate and using the power imbalance between him and uae to basically force him to go out with him if he wants to have a peaceful worklife. And idk that much about laws but thats sexual harassment in my country.

Am I tripping or did king just tell uae to quit his job if being harassed by his boss bothers him 😀
Also I found it kinda funny how he acted all concerned for uae just to ask for kinky sex the next second while uae was visibly tired from what is happening at work.
And yeah idk I find this show boring and repetitive but if youre here for no real plot besides sex and harassment than this might be sth for you just dont have high expectations imo.

I need some of yall to repeat after me: If „straight“ shows can have romance without the hyper sexualization of their characters and relationships so can queer shows. And you should just go watch tharntype or sth like if you dont like it ;)

Oh the irony of talking about how not taking advantage of drunk uae should be a given when that was how they did deed for the first time. At least stick to one kind of moral standpoint. Because i‘d argue that sleeping with someone you always have sex with while the other is drunk is much more acceptable(?) than with someone that you dont have such a relationship with.
So why even bring consent up when they dont have a idea themselves besides making uae go through a different traumatic event every episode.

The writers really took a „trauma we can give to a gay boy“ checklist and checked almost everything off
I feel like its a little much and also the pacing in this show feels kinda off idk how to describe it.

I‘m not even sure anymore but you might be right. But I still dont like her cause why would you let your poor brother raise him without helping him pretty much at all.

Oh and why introduce a whole couple at the beginning and not really show anything about them afterwards. I know the straights arent people that they like to portray in bls but I was actually excited to see at least bit about their storyline. Justice for our token straight couple parew and leng.

Great show overall but one of the things that bothered me is how li mings mom just left her son with her brother for at least 7+ years and didnt give them any financial support while they were struggling to make ends meet. I get that she was also struggling and that the series was supposed to show different family dynamics but her just coming back after not seeing her own son for 7 years just made me have this dislike for her even tho the character seems to be a great person at the end.

If there is one thing that I will remember about this show its gonna be earths sighing. I‘d be drunk after every episode if I took a shot each time. I feel like he does that a lot but this series was a new level.
