Why would they make this 12 episodes long with basically no material for the plot? This could’ve been a cute show but instead it became sth most of us watched out of spite.

Does anyone know why gunwoo doesn’t drink? Because it seemed like it was sth important about his character to me. I was honestly really hoping for a backstory that included that but oh well maybe I missed sth.

What kept me going were the fight scenes. Because as unrealistic as they are dohwan and sangyi are just eyecandy.
A couple of things I didnt understand.
Soooo many obviously illegal things were happening right from the beginning from destroying other peoples property to tax evasion but the police didnt get directly involved until the very end when they were trying to flee. Idk
Also it kinds bothered me how they never really had a plan. I wasnt expecting the glory level of planning etc but the villain seemed to outsmart them with pretty much everything. Like did they really not except to be found by him *cough* episode 6.

Damn the rating dropped so much compared to when it first got released. I really liked it because it always kept me on my toes and because of how flawed the characters were and how their actions had me questioning my own morals.
That being said I haven’t rewatched it since it got released so i wonder if rewatching it would change my opinion

It was very cute and I love yechan. I‘m not really gonna comment on the plot because sometimes simple is also enough but it felt more like bromance than romance to me idk.

I have question about jin buyeong/cho yeon because i probably missed sth.
As I understood it in the first season actress jung somin was buyeongs real body. So why is actress go younjung her real body in this season? And what exactly happened at the end with whos body and whos soul is actress go younjung? I hope this question makes sense.

I‘m sorry I really tried to like it but easily solvable misunderstanding as the main plot is one of my least favorite tropes. Every time one of them is about to finally say it they get interrupted, lie or misunderstand which causes more misunderstandings. Using this once or maybe twice would be ok but every episode damn.
Also that lady slapping him was so unnecessary especially since she forced herself to be there while disregarding every sign souta showed of clearly having no interest in her (also lets stop showing violence against men as sth that is ok pls)

I think the best way to describe this show is camp.
I‘m usually someone who cringes really fast but the moment I stopped taking this show serious it started being a fun lil watch.

I know this is a kdrama but the bad parking drove me crazy. There is no way parking on the right lane of a busy street makes any sense just because the traffic is really bad and he will be late. As if he can just leave his car there pls.

I have not watched this yet but one thing I noticed on mydramalist is how japanese dramas are generally scored lower than dramas from other countries. Especially for bls. Not to bash thai bls but they are usually rated way higher than they should be. A thai bl with 7.6 is pretty much nothing compared to a japanese one.
So in conclusion if you’re using this site to determine whether to watch sth or not do not trust the ratings. Rather read the comments to see what people liked and didnt and if that aligns with what you want to watch.

Edit: if anyone makes it this far down for some reason it was good in the beginning but got annoying very fast. The same misunderstanding repeatedly and just no communication. I have no idea why the writers made this 12 episodes long.

I think you may have misunderstood me. I didnt mean that he should have given them the same treatment. What I meant is that not every character needs to be forgiven.
Taehyung treated him like absolute shit and jaewon simply did not need to forgive him or be nice to him. As molly put it his character arc is that he didnt have to put up a facade anymore and it just would‘ve been nice to see him express himself.
But I do completely understand what you mean with that he couldnt care less. I just have this big dislike about giving what feels like redemption arcs to antagonists that that do not deserve it.

The biggest thing that bothered me is the redemption arc eunji and taehyung got. Both of them are bad people. She cheated on him and is a nasty person and he used him and constantly talked down on him. (Btw I genuinely thought jaewon was gonna say „sorry that I didnt punch you even harder“ when they had that talk at the party)
Why do they need to be forgiven just because the main characters are happy when all the nasty stuff they did and say still stands? This is sth that bothers me in a lot of shows

I feel like this drama is really solid for what it is. And thats just your stereotypical romcom and thats ok. Some people just went into it with too many expectations. But one thing tho they could‘ve done so much more with the second couple I‘m kinda sad that they left it there.

Idc I love turning off my brain every friday to not think about all the missing plot points and useless characters and all around just the vibes before plot stance this show has. Also god bless force parents for blessing us with him 🧎🏽‍♀️

Personally I think its nice to watch an unserious show with nothing much happening once in a while. The actors have chemistry and even if cher is a lil too over the top sometimes I find it bearable. Also cher doesnt come across as immature imo. Maybe a lil naive in the beginning but nothing too bad.

Yes honestly one of my least favorite character tropes is the comedic relief chubby best friend side character whos whole personality revolves around eating.
