So I recently came across this movie on Instagram and decided to give it a watch. I have to say, it was definitely…
I feel like the bit of cringe is what makes these types of movies charming. I‘m not even the target audience anymore but as you said it’s exactly what one needs to brighten the day sometimes.
I watched this when it came out and I still remember how emotional I was throughout this whole drama. One scene that I think think about quiet often is He Zhi Qius birthday dinner. Cried like a baby. If this type of (found) family, youth, slice of life, TRAUMA drama is sth youre looking for then this is it!
Meen is actually a decent actor. And Ping isn’t awful but pls free them from the prison that are bl pairings. Let Meen take a good main role that isn’t a pairing with Ping. (And let Ping play a character that isn’t whiny and annoying)
Being in your early 30s and and playing high schoolers is crazy.
Edit: yes I know other actors have played high schoolers while being way older before. But being over 10 years older or in this case 15 years (+- a couple of years) just should not happen imo. Regardless the actors will probably do a good job even when they look like teachers and not students.
i can't believe that that are actual people in the comments disappointed that yai has a trans gf.get a life, stay…
Didnt even know she was trans. I‘m glad trans folks are being represented by a character that isn’t the comedic relief. But I‘m really disappointed that some viewers are transphobic even tho they’re watching a queer show.
Technically speaking, Charlie is the one who came out of nowhere. So to me, Way being wary of him makes sense.…
Oh and with coming out of nowhere I just mean the show is just not the best production wise in editing imo. Especially in the first episode they just cut to random scenes so Way just lurks out of nowhere sometimes.

I love your take and I agree with most of the things you said. Of course people are rooting for Charlie because they want him and Babe to end up together even if they know Charlie isn’t being all truthful and Way is the one that’s coming between them. But I think it’s important to note that intentions are really important. Way is so bothered by the fact that Babe might actually like Charlie that he does everything to manipulate that relationship. Even if he’s right about Charlie everything he does gets overshadowed by his jealousy/selfishness to me. If you like Babe then make your move or just move on. And we don’t know Charlies intentions yet but the viewers are obviously rooting for him. And I haven’t read the book so I can’t really add anything to that.
I’m genuinely wondering who enjoys shows like these? Like who was this made for? I‘ve been waiting for this for about 2 years because of the storyline and I was expecting some cringing but not this. Could not finish it and if I ever continue it its gonna be on 2x speed.
I‘m usually not for the second lead couple having their own drama because there isn’t enough to work with but ai di and chen yi absolutely need their own show. They have such an interesting story from their past to what their future could be. And I feel like I dont even need to meantion their chemistry and acting. I hope they get their own drama and someone sees the potential and invests more money into it than into dear to me.
Loving that these two are so different in appearance, age, skin tone, hair color, facial characteristics, height,…
Thats what bothered me as well. I read a few chapters of the manga and there you can see the wings peeking out underneath the hoodie. I do get that the wings are pretty massiv so it would look funny but they should’ve made sth poke out at least.
I watched the last episode without realizing its the last episode and now i‘m sad. It wrapped up nicely but I still hope there is a second season of them being cutely in love.
Having kangs pov about him and sailom beyond him destroying the umbrella would’ve benefited this episode so much. I understand they were trying to show how torn he was etc and thats why he acted so hot and cold but it just seemed so off lol.
I know its just a silly little show but the plot holes with the whole loan shark situation were so funny to me. If the police is already involved why not tell them you have the literal location? What was Phumjai even trying to achieve when he went there all by himself? And then Phojai and Tag just followed him blindly. And even after that when Phojai was being held hostage lol But the part I just cant get over is how Phumjais parents are obviously loaded but apparently they did not give a single fuck that their son was being held hostage in some warehouse for 3 months when I’m sure they could’ve payed those 5mio baht pretty easily. I know that was for the plot but come on lol
Honestly this is such a solid show from the beginning to the end if this type of genre is what youre looking for. I‘ve seen people say its too sexualized but queer shows deserve to have the same variety in media as straight shows. I want puppy love queer shows and absolutely messy queer shows. And this is exactly that. Had me screaming at my screen from the beginning to the end. Not one dull moment.
