Literally it didnât feel like her disappearance affected him all that much. It was hella anticlimactic. Only part I think was good abt this was him saying that heâs gonna take out the demon Lord and make his subordinates search for her. And regarding the run time, they couldâve shown us his emotional state and his search for her in a montage that lasts like 2 or 3 minutes if time was an issue. That wouldâve still been better than what they ended up giving us. Very unfortunate.
Writers really shouldâve stuck with the novel, because Sima Jiao was never a weak character who would just fall…

He is insanely powerful, I do not buy that the merging took such a toll on him that his body just said no and he went đ´ and had others search for her. The guy legit doesnât care abt anything as long as she is safe and no matter his injuries, he always managed to protect her somehow. Like come on he would risk his own life trying to get her back. Well yeah obviously he needed to rest but my point is that itâs out of character. With how much he loves her and how he always saved her no matter his injuries, it doesnât make sense to me that he didnât do anything for 18 years.
Why did SJ go into a coma for 18 years instead of searching for TY... That feels so out of character helpppđ Like I get he had to recover, but letâs be realâthat was never his first priority. Was he THAT weak after the merge??
