Imo not relevant to the plot a lot of the time. I don’t mind NC either but a lot of thai BL’s just put them for the sake of having men make out on screen, which is fine, but I’m not the target audience for that. That’s literally the reason why I stopped watching a couple years ago lol. Obviously not every thai bl is like that but a large amount seem to go that route or they include NC that isn’t even good yikes.I come back occasionally to see whats going on but imo thai bl’s in general seem to have downgraded a lot these past couple years so now I just don’t even bother most of the time. They’ve been popping out way too many below average shows for me to be invested.

Today’s eps had me kicking my feet. Their connection is so beautiful and genuine. Seeing SJ so comfortable and content around TY makes my heart happy. He finally has someone who loves him and see’s him for who he is. He isn’t alone anymore. And that constant nose touching. So cute😭

And for the plot to focus so much on them fucking, the smut wasn’t even written well. Like, what do you mean WSW couldn’t walk for days?🧍‍♂️It just felt fetishizing, not sexy.
Thankfully, the way the show did it is kind of overwriting a lot of parts I remember from the novel.

I literally couldn’t stand either CC or WSW in the book. Both of them were so toxic and flawed. CC was just gross overall, no explanation needed, and WSW was a pathetic loser. Their relationship never really felt like love to me. The only time I started kinda liking them was during the jail arc (even though CC was still super questionable.. correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t he jerk off with a guard or smth like that HELP). That part at least made me feel like maybe there was something real between them with WSW getting CC out.

But in the show? Totally different story. I genuinely love them and their relationship so much. The characters still have flaws and stay true to parts of their novel selves, but they’re way more likeable. CC isn’t unbearable and WSW is basically my child atp and I will defend this man no matter what. He’s still scheming, but he actually has redeeming, likeable traits. You can tell as soon as he starts developing feelings that they’re genuine, and his focus never strays from CC (thank god they toned down his weird admiration for WZ). They managed to take.. whatever tf the book was and turned into such a beautiful story. I swear every time I read abt them doing the deed it just felt like I was reading 🍇. I’m very happy abt the changed they made.

The book literally felt like a fever dream and I was way too young to be reading stuff like this back then. Very questionable writing. I get why she doesn’t want ppl to read it anymore. The amount of times I remember literally turning off my phone, taking a deep breath and trying not to throw that story across my room—

TY always looks stunning but her in that black outfit in soul manor just.. LORDDD. I love the way she looks without any accessories and lavish outfits.

Same I love his smile sm. It suits him & it makes him look like an innocent puppy lol😔 He seems so genuine when he looks at her, especially considering how ruthless he is with everyone else.
