Well I don't know how to answer without spoiling. In the drama you'll soon find that there are 2 worlds : the world of Wang Yu, full of tricks, politics, and action and the world of Togon Temur who's more emotional and s trying to overcome his shortcomings. I feels that the romance is happening on the Emperor's side, but that's not entirely true. It's just that the Emperor is putting his emotions first when Koryeo's King is more focused on his duty. In the middle you've got El Temur and his family, who are focused on gaining as much power as possible and to maintain the power they already have. And finally, Nyang, who's torn between her affection and loyalty to the King, and the constant need of attention from the Emperor.

So far I'd say that politics and romance are well balanced. This is not one of those dramas that use the politics as a pretext for a shallow romance that's for sure.

You're not bethering me at all^^ And yes I am an avid Empress Ki watchers. (I don't really like the korean name they gave to the Yuan character, to me Ta Hwan should be Khan Togon Temur, Yeon Chul should be El Temur, etc...)

How do you like the drama so far ?

The empress Dowager is Ta Hwan's mother, and Yeon Chul...well I don't know if they already have a blood relation but he did kill Ta Hwan father and tries to make a coup and to end up having his own clan at the head of the Empire.

I started (and by started I mean watched 11 episodes) of Nine and it's as awesome and WTFesque as they say. So I'm glad this was not oversold to me, I'm really not disappointed. But I'm stuck at episode 11, cause I fear for what is to come. Also, I like his younger version nearly more than his ~40 version. He's cute and interesting even though I think that so far the actor has an issue with his "sad face". What do you think ?

Also, this morning I was drenched by pouring rain for 30 minutes when I went to the university, and then again when I went back home for lunch, and now two hours later I'm shivering so I think I might be going down with something. And that's not good because I have an appointment tomorrow and guests the night after...

I'm stuck at episode 1 right now, but everyone telling me that it's getting reeal good after episode 4 so I should probabaly get to it. But right now, the drama I'm really into is the currently airing saeguk Empress Ki

Yeah, his really hot. But I don't imagine him as a composition of diffenrent idols lol

I think that this drama is well written, they can surprise us without messing with History, that the actors are doing a great job and that the music is beautiful. Plus the drama itself is really beautiful (the set, the costumes, the cast^^). To me it's a great Saeguk
