Great article. Personnally I was alwys curious about brows and lips. I like how thicker brows are becoming a trend too now in Western countries, just a few years ago they were supposed to be all thin and waxed, and I was like "but it's so much more beautiful in korean dramas!!!"

Because of the absence of subs I didn't get all the details, but here is what I understood :
1- she was to be shipped away for protection because the King was getting f*cking paranoid and for good reasons,
2- but that scene when the young girl is forced to leave her father in tears made Wang So think of his own childhood, it was unbearable for him and so,
3- he begged the King to go back on his decision to ship the girl away.
4-To this, the King said "who will protect her when I'm gone, then?...You do it ! Marry her, and protect her!" (or something close to that, we'll see how the subbers translate it).
5-Wang So eventually accepts.
