I really enjoyed. It was heavy handed on comedy without being completely cheesy. They didn’t throw in comedy but actually made a comedy BUT the storyline was still there with all the right arcs, climax and resolutions. The FL is smart and tough yet she isn’t overbearing. She shows there can be a balance between being cute and affectionate and also being a strong leader. The dude is for the most part your cold, stand-offish ML, but he shows his love and kindness towards FL fairly early on and doesn’t play games once he’s into her. I laughed, I cried, and then I laughed some more. An easy watch where the leads are smart and the villains don’t just control the show.

Tragic couple means different things to different ppl and doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t end up together. Also, if after reading glowing reviews, you decide to drop from PTW, it’s your loss. If you don’t like sad endings and take my review to mean as much, then don’t watch.

I’m surprised he has no dramas since 2020. I wonder what he is up to.

Hi hi. 😂 you’ll find me in the comments of many fluffy dramas before 2021. ML improves throughout drama but I just realized he has not been in any other dramas as ML since this. Too bad.

Yuh. I'll continue for Shiyi. He was a typical cdrama student jerk before uni but now (I'm at ep 14), hrs such a sweetheart and the number of times he thinks it's him, but then his smile leaves him. Ugh. The pain. I was happy when she went to sing and she realized SML was into her friend. IDK why she thought the nice guy who is nice to EVERYONE was into her. He didn't treat her special. Eek. Anyways. Onto continuing my pain for another 22 eps. *stress*

Oh. Wow! I wish I had asked before I started. I’m already on ep 10 so I can’t stop now so I’ll just be left frustrated. Hopefully the mini eps / clips of their lives after what’s in the drama will help. 😢

Do you recall what ep FL finally reciprocates ML's feelings? Do they ever show them as a couple?

When does SML go away? Okay...really just curious when FL starts reciprocating some of these feels. I'm at ep 5 and it feels it will drag for a decade with 41 eps. Yikes

I'm on ep 8 and ML is so naive that I'm very concerned with this manipulative SML coming on board. Can you please let me know how ugly and/or angsty this drama will become with this jerk SML? TIA

Yeah. It got better after about ep 23. She got some passion in her and grew a spine

I’ll look into it. You have done an amazing job explaining it though. I think I was thinking too straightforwardly and you helped me realize I need the think more two dimensional. Even three. Lol. I see the deep character that the FL is intended to be. I think it could have been ironed out a little more, but I get her core struggles. She was in between a rock and a hard place.
