I might be cruel but I really hated the princesa and was glad that at least she died at the end. For me she doesn't…
I was kind of surprised that they became such a loving couple at the end. I know he is ultimately a good guy but he didn’t have to give into it the way he did as he knew she was a part of the plot to get him married to her and she tried to harm the person he actually loved
Be ready for many deaths...definitely not overly fluffy like some of the recent dramas I have come across but…
First, I have to say SML did such an awesome dying scene. Not too dramatic and the way his eyes like dull followed by the perfect last gasp. Nice!
Now on to problems - HOW in the world do they have a huge counter army to stop the rebels which totally looks like it outnumbered the rebels and yet they fight 3 to 1? On top of that, the rebel army gives up pretty much immediately. Then SML does unnecessarily because they are 3 great fighters and the old man wasn’t even that badass. Followed by FL defeating him super easily without all the fancy swordsmanship techniques. They also I think we’re running out of time/budget because that battle was nothing and took only about 10 minutes with limited number of actors, reduced destruction shots, fewer camera angle within a contained space. Such fail for a drama that was doing so well.
Be ready for many deaths...definitely not overly fluffy like some of the recent dramas I have come across but not too serious either. It was actually nice to see FL fall for someone else before the story changed courses. I would have enjoyed more time between FL and ML as an item as they were so sweet together.
The show was good but the last big battle really was underwhelming and left me scratching my head...continued in spoiler below...
I started forwarding through around episode 19 and by the end I didn’t even care. The overall case was super predictable, the romance was there in the way of a guy-girl who really care about each other and the baddies were running this big operation but so dumb that I’m surprised no one caught on earlier. Not worth your time IMO.
Do the leads end up together and who is the culprit? Can u give a spoiler?
Nooooo...not Miles. I had a feeling after he took that phone call in ep. 15 post-fencing match. That’s why I checked out this spoiler. Is he a complete goner or is there some salvageable good guy left in him?
I have looked here, there and everywhere in between. Alas, no eng. subs to be found for S2 E22-26. I was looking forward to watching this but I’m glad I looked into it before even starting S1. So much sadness T-T
This was really cute. No real angst and the couple had chemistry. They were committed and resolved issues quickly. At the same time, nothing spectacularly mind blowing. The only lingering thought I have left after finishing is “Dang! Tang is ridiculously tall!” When he stands next to people at the end of the drama, it’s especially noticeable. Very nice ;)
Holy moly. This couple cannot catch a break. Misunderstandings abound and many secrets with very few instances of clear communication. There is never a complete episode of happiness. Worse, as soon one problem is resolved, within 10 minutes something else bad happens.
I enjoyed ML and FL’s acting and chemistry (the latter only showed up here and there since the plot kept going in circles to keep them apart). The ending was...let’s just say you have to watch the special or else be ready to have a gaping hole in your heart.
Wah. That’s a long time to build a relationship under false pretenses. Does he suddenly do a 180 when he finds out or does the romance shift nicely? (Thanks for the reply!)
Hi there. Can you please help me with a little spoiler because I just slammed through 10 episodes and still don’t…
Okay good to know. I think I was frustrated because they would kind of get close but then something happens and he misunderstands her and she’s constantly trying to run away. Thank you though. Your answer was helpful :)
There are so many memorable moments from this show and I've said this before, but I am so glad for how the story…
Hi there. Can you please help me with a little spoiler because I just slammed through 10 episodes and still don’t see an end in sight. When is there less misunderstandings between the couple? Or when is there some sort of confession/ mutual feelings?
