Anyone feels that Yul is about to fall victim to someone. I'm feeling sorry for him for some reason. It's not because Mu-Deok rejected him, either. Ah, I hate when the good second love interest is good and get a sad ending. I'm hoping for the best.
The present King definitely has to go, and the Prince would be a fair King. UK's character doesn't seem interested in power.
I dropped it. I was curious to see Dylan Wang in a different role. It wasn't the actors. I personally didn't care for the storyline. And the FL looked every bit of forty-something.
I have to say this, and then I'll leave it alone—episode 53. I've watched it several times, and I'm floored that no one talked about Lady Luo's ass going off the side of the cliff with that horse and carriage. I can ignore that SS doesn't have a blood sleeve, although she wears the same dress in the last scene with the empress. But back to the cliff, I guess Lady Luo was not that important after all. All of that should add to SS's trauma.
Did they add more episodes? As far as I know it’s 20.
Hey Jamila, I haven't seen you on the threads in awhile. I actually put this one on hold after I read there would be a second season with the first female.
I had mixed emotion when I finished it. They have 90% stayed true to the novel, until the reconciliation part.…
Right, why did they make her lovesick? LBY finds her laughing and as bright and beautiful after 5 years. He was the lovesick one. Also, Shen was ready to fight LBY for SS's heart. He didn't have much fight in the drama. Yeah, they portrayed He much differently in the novel. It mentioned that she had 3 children for A'Yau but was still indifferent and had flings with her ex, but they had a better ending for the drama.
Wow, it swayed away from the novel more so at the end. There were parts in the novel that I would have loved to have seen in the drama. It's okay. To anyone who read the novel, were you happy with the ending?
For example A'Yau? He? Shen? Where you happy with those parts?
I would have loved to see him bite her again and grovel on his knees.
I hope she has self-care time. We enjoy her performances so much that when we do not see a new show, we're disappointed, then I realize that she may need a break. For months at a time, they are away from home, family, and friends so we can have entertainment. She deserves every award and nomination.
I had an LLTG withdrawal and thought this aired only Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Oh, when I remembered we also got Thursdays, the clouds parted, and the sun shone through.
I just need to get an idea. I read the synopsis and thought I needed a little more insight.
