It's very detailed. I like the drama. It would be too long if they followed the novel because of the background stories of each person involved in the Huo Clan's demise. The novel is so emotional. There are characters that I think are relevant and aren't in the drama, but I understand why they were removed from the drama.

OMG. The drama and the novel aren't exactly the same. The director and screenwriter may have another plot twist.

I've cried for three chapters straight. In the novel, LYB starts his revenge after Huo Jun Hua dies.

When LYB was taking down Ling Yi, Shao Shang stared at LBY and said with difficulty: "I just want to ask who are you after all? Ling Budo (Bu Yin), or Huo Wushang?"

Afterward, he slowly turned around and said to Ling Yi on the ground, "Uncle, Ah Li is already dead." At this time, he was sighingly handsome but also frighteningly unfamiliar to SS.

Juicy information. I can see a plot twist for sure. She has called LBY, her nephew, a few times.

I think I'll come back to this on the 30th and binge it.

I read in one novel review that LBY returns after five years and uses his power to break off the engagement with YS and SS. This infuriates SS. Although she has feelings for him, when she feels wronged, she holds a grudge. She said she's petty. LBY has to put in some work to get her heart again. Your version sounds better. I want YS to come to that realization and find his true happiness.

I agree. We know they're fictional characters, but I also agree had he been more transparent about his feelings for her and let go of his prejudices, he may have had a better chance. He became more arrogant but still infatuated after she rejected him at the lantern festival, but in a childish way. After he explained to his mother that she was not in his plans or his idea of his future wife, I understood. He, too, does not understand a loving relationship because his parents showed no effect toward one another and did not understand his growing affection for SS. I'm glad he figured it out. He just figured it out too late. LBY was not going to miss a second chance at her.

He seemed suspicious from the beginning.

"As a child he witnessed his father's death, then is forced to treat the murderer as his "father" over the next decade." Is this in the novel? Also, Did Ling Yi have a twin? Others would know if it wasn't his real father, right?

Dang 5th Princess for her clumsiness, tripping on her gown during the dance. I wanted to hear Second Princess finish the song.

I totally believe that they are close already. The 3rd Prince's character will be a twist for sure. He doesn't entertain the foolery that is said to him about CP and is focused on justice no matter who it is.

Me either. She's an opportunist with low self-esteem.

I dropped it. I was forcing myself to watch it because I like the leads.

I watched all the episodes again, and it was better the second time. I could see facial expressions I had not seen before because I was reading the screen intensely. The Emperor and Consort Yue are becoming one of my favs. I can't wait for tomorrow's episodes.

Ha! So many people didn't leave any face for comeback about this drama. Was it that terrible?

It bored the hell out of me too! LOL. Our girl deserves better roles.

Yeah, I hear yah. I wasn't specifically talking about the 5th princess, but if she believes the Empress likes CSS more and she acting out on those emotions--do you not consider it jealously? The jealously does not need to be connected to romance.

I did a re-watch. I still cried like it was the first time watching it. My heart felt the emotions of each character. Such a masterpiece. I usually dislike time loops, but this was written exceptionally well.

Poor Yu Mo.

After her role in Reset, I hope her agents are getting her some significant parts! No going back to roles like Growing Pain. Sorry fans of Growing Pain, but she is a rising star.
