Just got to the scene in episode 2 and like.... .in an ideal world - one where we teach people proper consent…
You're right, both scenes weren't romanticized(even though the 1st one was very hot). I think we(the viewers) are going at the same pace as the characters, getting to know them at the same time they're trying to know each other, I mean, we hated Type because of his extreme homophobic attitude(just like Tharn did), we hated Tharn because of taking his jokes too far(just like Type did), but know that we know more about both of them, Type's trauma and Tharn actually caring for Type, we are beginning to understand(just like Tharn is doing with Type) and like(just like Type is doing with Tharn) both characters.
Amen! Not hate! Thailand is top notch in BL and this series is no exception!
Well, for me is not romantic but I do find it very realistic, I've been in Third's position, so I can relate. I didn't expect Third and Kai to end up together, they had so many problems!!! I liked better the other couple, Two and Aun, which while watching the trailer of A Tale of a Thousand Stars, it was kind of awkward to see them working together, if you get what I mean...
Okay ... I feel like I watched a different series. "Tharn made unwanted sexual advances, for the 2nd time."He…
I know what you mean about the toxic comments, even JayBL said that some haters tweeted her when she wrote about what she likes about the novel, I mean isn't it going to far?!?! Supposedly people should be more tolerant, but it seems to be the opposite. You can write a negative review or give your personal opinion about something without hurting other people. I feel very upset with all the unnecessary hate this series and even the actors are receiving, especially Mew, I just hope he's ok and knows that all those people who are criticizing him is because he's doing a pretty good job, and later all will be on the past. Type seems to be like any normal heterosexual guy, but he definently feels attracted to Tharn, in the novel, I just get to the part of the sexual assault that happened in episode 2, (let me tell you that they did a pretty good job but still, some things were missing), Type actually is very confused, because he's feeling aroused and excited when Tharn is touching him, the same guy he hates and insults because he's gay is making him "feel good" so he's also embarrassed because of his own reaction but at the same time he feels disgusted because he's remembering what happened to him when he was 12. I've also read from others that Type gets addicted to having sex with Tharn so maybe THAT is your exaggerated sexual behavior lol

Oh, ok, I thought you were saying Mew wasn't handsome enough to play as Tharn, my bad lol. I kind of understood when you said that his face doesn't look "healthy", remember that he had that problem with his co-star and he was super depressed, and those kind of problems don't only destroy you emotionally but also physically(being there), and even if he's recovering now, he still has some scars left. About Type's blushing, in the novel he emphasizes that Tharn si so f***ing hot, I mean, he repeated the same thing like 3 or 4 times when describing Tharn, so it kind of made me think Type felt attracted to him, at least physically. This relationship has evolve from hate to understanding in these 2 episodes but I think the real development will start now.
The 2nd ep wasn't as bad as what the most comments said. Yes, there is sexual harrasment and whatnot but I've…
Yes, is very common in BL, but what makes TharnType different from the rest of the other series is that they haven't romanticize both scenes, quite the opposite, and I think that's a plus for this series.

I agree with you in almost everything, but I didn't get what you meant when you said: " Tharn is portrayed as a very sensual guy in general and I think his appearance is to his disadvantage. Mew should take care of him, he looks like a drug addict. There is something very edgy and dark about him." Did you tried to say that Mew should take care of Tharn or that he should take care more of himself?!?! On my very personal opinion(and my friends), I see Mew as a very handsome man, and can be sensual if the character requires him to be. In the novel, Type describes him as "so f***ing handsome" and for me(and for others out there) he totally is. I don't understand why you say he seems edgy and dark(except for the part that he was portraying a character trying to hide from Type the fact that he's gay, or worrying about Type's reaction and health condition), but let's face it, it has been a rough start for Tharn. Later in the series, we'll see Mew smile more, which I think is one of his strong points, he has such a honest smile, and maybe you won't see him as dark as you do right now. What I do know for sure is that you don't like his veins lol!!!
"I don't get where the attraction between those two is coming from and that's just something that makes this story "cheap" for me. Tharn seems to be drawn to Type. Yeah, he is gay. That's apparently enough of an explanation. But why feels Type attracted to him too? It seems like he is falling for him slowly. Like what the hell?! How? Why so sudden? " Well, I do know that Type is 100% Tharn's type lol, he loves Type eyes and of course, his body is a plus, and also the fact that he's very clean(Tharn is a cleaning freak), but he doesn't want to mess with a straight guy, that's why he's controlling himself. About Type, I don't think he's into Tharn yet, he's just changing his opinion, or more like removing the gay tag from him(Type always thought of Tharn as a very nice guy, until he found out he was gay). I think maybe reading the novel can make us understand more about these characters and their developement. Is so hard to resume the whole novel into a 12 episodes series!!!!
Guys.... humans make mistakes and these characters are humans too. All this shit happens in real life as well.…
That was also my point, I can't understand why people are making all this ruckus around that scene, like if were the first time they watch something like it, and what is worse, maybe those are the same people that: 1- Say Addicted/Heroin is the best BL ever, and for me has the worst toxic relationship I've seen in a BL. 2- Liked Make it Right, and were fans either of Frame and Book or Tee and Fuse, doesn't matter which because both couples started their relationship with romanticized scenes. 3- Fans of Tin and Can, which their first kiss was practically sexual assault.
In the novel Tharn is gonna force a handjob on Type, it's quite disturbing and heavily romanticises sexual harassment.…
Actually Techno was the abused one, not the other way around, and I wouldn't compare that scene with Tharn's because Kenkla was manipulative from the start and planned the whole thing just to have sex with Techno. I didn't like that couple but a lot of people did(even how it ended in LBC) and I'm ok with that because people have different fantasies. And the scene you're talking about that happens in the novel, let's better wait how it is portrayed in the series, then we can talk about it.
Everyone is blaming production for the ending of the first episode but guys the production isnt showing u example…
Exactly!!! I've been writing the same thing over and over again. Another thing that I don't get is why people are already making conclusion about the series and how the development of Tharn and Type's relationship is going to turn out after only watching 1 episode.
It’s been such a heartbreaking episode for Tharn because it’s obvious that he’s liked Type for some time…
Ikr?!?!?! And Mew portrayed every feeling so well!!!! Some people said that it was out of the blue when Tharn said that he was attracted to Type, and I was like "What?!?!? Didn't you guys get all the hints through the entire episode?!"
Maybe we won't kiss drunk people, but it does happens in real life. This episode is to show us that both of them…
I think that there's nothing worse than regretting something you did, and eventually it will happen something similar to what you wrote, so I think you should keep watching the series
I'm sure its not. Its his revenge for the way type treated him. Btw it does not seem to me that they rimanticize…
I don't think is going to be as dark as The Effect, but it will touch sensitive topics. You do know that Tharn doesn't goes further besides hickeys and the kisses, right?! I know what he did was wrong(is still sexual assault), but I get why he did it, it's payback time, and for some people there's nothing more satisfying than giving your enemy a taste of his/her own medicine. Of course, he doesn't know what's Type's problem, if he knew, he wouldn't have never done that.
