I know that some people were complaining about the scene, but not to the extent of not letting someone translate the novel because then the translator would be approving what one of the main character did in the novel(an action not as serious as I've read in other novels or fanfiction), WTF!!!! That's just crazy, extremist and absurd. If they can't handle those kind of things, then I suggest them to not read the novel and/or watch the series!!!

Maybe we won't kiss drunk people, but it does happens in real life. This episode is to show us that both of them are humans and make mistakes, although I don't approve what Tharn did, I can understand why he did it, and he will suffer the consequences for it. Also, like @Liz wrote, this series won't be lovey dovey cute, it will have a darker tone touching sensitive topics like gang rape or sexual abuse.

Exactly!!!! I agree with you completely. That's what make these characters so interesting, because they're not perfect and in the 1st episode they're showing us that both of them have a dark side, and also some of their actions/mistakes will have consequences. And besides, a lot of people are complaining about Tharn's behavior but those same people didn't complained when Tin kissed Can for the first time, wich can be also called sexual assault.

People do bad things but doesn't necessarily makes them bad, we are all humans, and we have flaws, nobody is perfect. Also if you disrespect someone then don't expect that person to respect you in return. I'm not justifying what Tharn did, but doing this makes him interesting and real. I think his face and eyes look different not only because of weight loss(which by the time they started filming the series, he was already recovering), I think that most of his change in the face was because of his problem with Art(his WTD's co-star), he lost part of that innocent look and radiance that he used to have, you can notice that he's been careful around Gulf(even if we always see Mew being clingy with him) trying not to make the same mistakes he did in the past. Gulf was also the same, but now he seems to be relaxed around Mew...

I would have fallen in love too if he was my roommate :-P... now talking seriously, you can clearly see than Tharn cares for Type and considers him more than just a roommate(bringing him snacks everyday, being hurt when Type said those things, comparing him to the rest of the people who also has roommates, he looks like he want to be close with Type), I won't say he's in love but he definently seems to have a soft spot for him, maybe Type is his type 0.0?!?!? You can feel attracted to someone but that doesn't necessarily means you're in love. And maybe he didn't make a move on him because he knew he was straight?!?!
