Nah. You're being dishonest as fuck, my guy. 118 k-dramas were made last year. Of that number, only about 19/20 can be categorised as over-the-top romance dramas.

Now, going by your watchlist (if that's what you enjoy), at least 50 dramas made last year were your "type of dramas". Cheesy romcoms may be popular but that doesn't mean more of them are made than other genres.

I may talk crap but it's fact-based crap. Just be a hater with your chest. Nobody is going to beat you. (You should also just block me 'cos I can keep this going for days if I want to.)

And why are you in the comment section pointing out the obvious when clearly you don't like the drama, genre, filmmaking or actors? Shouldn't you be watching and commenting on something you actually enjoy instead of being a hater? Don't you want to be happy? Life is too short to be typing in caps and using exclamation marks on a show you look down on instead of something that excites you.

It's impossible to take this show seriously. The writers are not even trying to pretend there's any kind of substantial plot. Just matching outfits and vibes. Love it.

Why ask for the impossible? She's going to do way more than walk.

Haven't been 12 in decades but if being a 12yo is what it takes to enjoy this drama, I'm happy to be a tween. Agree with your points though. Truth is if you're looking for substances or scratch the surface of the drama with a toothpick it loses most of its entertainment value.

That bawling in front of everyone, goodness. I want to fight the writers because it serves no purpose but to make Pat look (for the hundredth time) like an immature emotional mess in a professional setting. Ep 11 and I have no idea what Pat's character is supposed to be or why I should root for him.

Chot (Bruce) is my favourite. Dude can act and he's acing the character. Pep talks can be dicey but he delivered it well. That crying scene? His walk? Give him a main role next, please.

WTF is that Jen/Jaab storyline? Only thing that was interesting was their kiss, the rest is just bleh. And that wedding did not need to happen on-screen because everything that happened there did NOTHING for the plot. It's not even entertaining fluff.

This is exactly what I ordered. From the moment I watched the trailer, I knew it was going to have all the romcom cliches (including a thousand scenes of trip, fall and catch). Really needed something light and cute. I just hope it doesn't get too heavy and angsty in the middle.

My current prayer is that everyone who finds this drama boring drops it. 🙏

The preview has everyone losing their shit. Lol. Guess we'll soon find out what that is about.

I like the pharmacist lady and I'm rooting for her. She's going after a man in an open relationship whose wife is dating someone else (she's not watching the drama with us to know it's fake). Don't know why she's getting hate.

Can't fully get behind the sanctification of Grandma yet but she still has a lot of time to make up for her treatment of TK. She's still mean af to people she doesn't like and is only mellow with OYD and TK because they know her secret. Won't make sense for her to be a nice old lady.

I'm going to be so mad when the writers make Ji Myung and Hyun Woo reconcile. Bleh. She's such a bitch and an unkind person. There's no backstory that justifies the way she treats her stepmum, OYD and TK and pretty much anyone she considers beneath her.

Do dramas like this scare me? Yes. Will I still watch dramas like this? Hell, yes.

Solid first episode. Let's see how the story develops.

I honestly doubt the writers put this much rigour into the character but it's nice you took time to humanise Pat a little more. Personally, I prefer to be spoon-fed my characters; depend on the filmmakers to tell/show/imply everything they think is important for me to know.

There are too many first-time actors in BLs that even if they didn't wow, still showed a spark of talent. Ben is a log of wood with one facial expression. He moves his body where it needs to go but that's about it. It's going to take a whole lot of kindling and matches to get a fire going.

It's not unhealthy either. I truly believe that defense mechanisms are a good thing and give one the time to heal. And even if eventually you decide romantic relationships and not something you want to pursue, that's fine also. You can have a life full of love. Doesn't have to be romantic.

A few episodes. I know she's in it.
