I'm a huge fan of the anime. Not that it matters. But this drama is a completely different animal so I'm not going to compare. ]I enjoyed it. Didn't feel the urge to use the ffw button even once. The pacing was consistent and the story was seamless. No silly plot holes. Can't remember the music which, for me, is a good thing cos it means it melded into the background. The CGI was okay but don't take my word for it. I thought the CGI for Sweet Home was okay too.

What elevated this a lot for was the acting. Koo Kyo Hwan was *chef's kiss*. Stellar actor. Kwon Hae Hyo as well. Jeon So Nee was a revelation. I didn't quite like her in Blooming Youth but this role made her shine. I didn't understand Lee Jung Hyun's character. Don't know if it was the character or the actor but the performance fell flat for me.

In all, a good drama. I should rewatch in a couple months.

These parasytes are kinda dumb. Brutish. Poor Su-in.

Honestly, I'll take a director who doesn't do cookie-cutter dramas. There might be more misses but by Jove when it hits, it hits good.

It's quite interesting, no doubt. But so far it hasn't grabbed my attention the way those two did.

Given her experience it's understandable that she might be a little off her rocker. Still, the character could have been made a little less whatever that is.

This chase scene is disorienting. But I get the vision. Koo Kyo Hwan and choosing unforgettable characters.

The psycho female police captain grates on my brain.

First couple episodes had such promise but it went off track about mid-way through and just went downhill from there. The acting was good but the rest of it was just abysmal.

Rated this a 7 two years ago. Came back to increase my rating to 7.5 just because the newer Thai BL shows are pure cheeks.

All of the advice came before she knew who he really was. By the time she realized, his revenge is already underway and there's a scene where he says he has no intention of stopping.

Seonyul is a grey character and the thing with grey characters is that it's hard to be indifferent to them. You either empathize with them or you don't. I don't. He was not a child when his father was murdered. His mum tried to guide him but he still chose to hate Soohyun. And he chose to do the congressman's criminal and illegal work. You could say the politicians he stalked and took pictures of were bad guys and deserved to be exposed. But what about the mistress and her son? What about meeting the officials who helped his dad beat a murder rap? Because you can't tell me he didn't understand what the congressmen meant by "They helped your dad."

At first, I thought he knew the congressman had something to do with his mother's accident and was close to him so he could take revenge but it's obvious he doesn't. With his looks and photography skills, he could have found another way to make money, if it was about money. But he chose to be a henchman.

Might just be me but it makes it difficult for me to feel sorry for him.

The music omg. I rarely notice bgm but this one made me want to scratch my ears off. They layered on it.

She does feel sorry for him and his mother. Why else would she be digging into the mum's accident? If she didn't care, she would have moved on from it. What she does not feel remorse for is the murder of the man who killed her child.

I've been wondering the same exact thing.

In order to get what they want (an explanation and apology), shouldn't they be willing to at least speak to the actor's agency? The refusal struck me as odd.

Looking at this through critical lenses is a waste of time. Pretty silly overall. Something to pass the time.
