I know the last scene of ep 11 is supposed to be hot but all I could think was "aww, how cute." Maybe because there hasn't really been much build-up in the way of sexual tension between the two.
Maybe later episodes will change my mind but the mum is manipulative. Ep 1, she says she was going to faint to end the conversation. Ep 3, she uses tears to avoid accountability. That behaviour is separate from her mental illness and it's what I think feeds Nat's anger and frustration (in addition to whatever back story there is about his dad).
I was looking forward to the break-up and I wasn't disappointed at all. The execution was beautiful. All that emotion. Whoosh. *chef's kiss* That was the only loose end I wanted to see tied up. Not particularly interested in present-day Hee Do or her husband. They were just plot devices.

This drama is so alive for many reasons that transcend the romance between YJ and HD. The romance is actually the least interesting part of this drama for me. Of course, I cheered for their love but I cheered even louder for the friendships and the growth of all the characters. I'm sure by the time I rewatch the drama, I'll notice its flaws but today, to me, it's as close to perfect as a k-drama can ever be. The actors, writer, director, etc. all deserve their flowers.
So... he knows he suspects he knows but everyone's still acting like his actions are just coincidences? Thought by now we'd have the answer to the distrust between the leads but I guess that's not going to happen till ep 12.
Don't intend to watch this series but I keep coming back to read the "this show is a confusing mess but I'll keep watching" comments. They're funny as hell.
English is probably the worst language you could use to translate ANY language. It's super limiting.
Really enjoyed reading this article.
