honestly it is worth reading because the dynamics between Sukuzi and Sugiki are insane....they are literally off the wall with each other in the manga, with Sugiki being obsessive, possessive, and bit psycho lol plus there are side characters that play massive important parts so......right now 39 chapters are free to read online, with 48 translated to date but not uploaded yet, Vol 8 came out on March 2026 so they story is still ongoing actually. Spoilers, don't read this if ya don't wanna know :) If one read the manga SO much is missing. Suzuki's first affair with a man. Surprise, it's not Sugiki. How Suzuki's ex-fiancé Liana, her first dance partner, her brother, is in love with her and how her bro, Norman Owen then intertwines with Suzuki (yes they do) and the other key professional dancers that become involved and infatuated with Suzuki and Sugiki. SO MUCH, literally... the entire story is missing from this film. 2 hr movie couldn't possibly correctly adapt this manga on the screen! and and and...ERNIE!! lol So while the movie is beautiful, not a doubt, the entire crazy relationships that go down between all the dancers and key players in the manga are not even addressed....so....

Read the manga. I was all smiles and giddy with excitement with the dances and tension and eyes locked and hips swaying took me in hook line and sinker...then part way thru this fizzled for me. It's a complicated love story that never really caught fire on screen. The bit of sexy scenes bombed. I am in that, HUH?? state after watching this movie. As beautiful as it was on screen, this won't be a rewatch for me. I got more excitement from the trailer than the movie lol...I don't know, just a lot missing from the manga and so much not conveyed in the film for me personally.

Did another rewatch on this and it still leaves me unsatisfied every time but it is heavily ladened with a ton going down between the events effecting their timeline and of course personal partner interactions that are crushing down on both of the mains. It's very engaging, but also a bit confusing on how they meet in the mirror at times and the subtitles I don't feel were conveyed very well to give us a fuller meaning of their convo. Even tho fantasy, it was nice they did reconnect with the age gap which made it 'feel more realistic' lol, even tho we know it is a supernatural theme, but I wanted to see him with a more happy ending. I wanted to see Wade with a new solid love for his future moving on but of course it's what I wanted, not what the scripted story gave me :) :) I liked this story tho, it was acted well by all.

Yes, they are the same guys. It's just their beginning together. They grew up together and went to the same university, then Youzhi got a girlfriend and that is when Tian decided to back off and go to the UK because he felt it was time to let Youzhi live his life and Tian felt his chance with him was never going to come so he left. The girlfriend dumps Youzhi and then more time goes by and he goes into being a singer/dancer for a career and Tian had always kept a watch on him from afar and also goes into that industry as an actor to try to stay near him.....then he makes his manager choose him for a lead role in a series to help vault Youzhi's career into acting. Then of course they start to reconnect as they film the series together and finally they hash it out and we have a happy ending for them :) I loved this story. Hope that helps.

On my to watch list and finally got to it, never a high priority but........wow......ok.......hmm. Acting was ok, I did enjoy the characters as written mostly, the story tho for me is just boring, like there was very little energy in the actual story content and the actors weren't fleshed out in any way really. It's just there with zero depth in the storytelling for me, it lacks a good bit :) It wrapped not so great to me but I saw it once and that is enough. I got thru it ok overall.

Did a rewatch on the movie version. OMGosh so great, oustanding! I giggled thru most of this cause the main actors killed these roles. Kenji is so expressive and Shiro is conservative til he cracks, ahhh, it is just wonderful. Too good, too good!!

It was good. Most of us viewers figured the whole story from ep 1 and during the lead thru the story it was exciting and engaged me with all the characters. Actors all did a great job. A lot of big emotions flying around to keep the series a bit intense which I liked. Few things I didn't like was the more fantastical need to basically torture an extreme terminal medical case of dementia with one's past directives on how to handle their dementia. It happens 4 times and to me it would seem a nightmare to put patient, family and staff thru that issue to that level but I let that slide cause it was key to the story. Alex and Nil. Wow. Nil rejected him point blank, saying do not put me under pressure and do not wait, find someone else....and Alex says he will wait, totally ignoring Nil's actions/thoughts and rejection. Kinda wish Alex accepted it and said he would move on. Suspended animation for these characters seemed fruitless to me. Loved Pete (Tenon), seen him in a few series and he always stands out to me. Like him a lot, he is talented, he can solidly hold his role. Loved the extreme ending where Alan and Win are in the afterlife, reunited. Happy for them :) I enjoyed this series with a few bobbles but all in all it was very well done.

Final.....loved it. I kinda like the misfortunate dude lol. He was cute. But I watched this thru the seasons and enjoyed every darn episode (and read manga) so this was just so much darn fun and I hope a live action sequel comes. I just loved it all, actors were outstanding, the tropes being busted in the bl world and I just laughed thru it all. Sad truly it is, maybe? finally over? Hope not....too cute, too adorable, too fun and just addictive!!

I smell a sequel also, something this long and loved thru the seasons has to chaptalize on just a bit more :) fingers and toes crossed!

I loved your comment. I read the manhwa. My first comment on watching eps 1-3 irked me cause it was that Jeonghan is not represented at all in this series. His character was warped from the start....this character in the manhwa has tons of depth that isn't even in play right out of the gate......so I haven't even watched more of this til I can try to accept a bad adaption from this manhwa. But that's me, but I so agree with how you are angling your comment. If one doesn't like 'a maybe distasteful' series, why watch it and comment it sucks and trash it while others so enjoy it? But anyway, I just wanna say your comment is cool.

Agree! These 2 as a pair hit very hard! I also put them right up there in my top favs! If they work together in some forward career fashion can you imagine with some acting workshops and bonding as actors how they would kill a major series? I can....we need them again!!

Ep 9 and all over this like a fish to water!!! Fluff and more fluffy, bring it on! So adorable, love the guy/girl trope for festival event and I am eating up this entire series. Only 1 ep left and I am getting sad now, I want so so so so much more of the mains! All actors killing their roles. The friend group is hysterical and I just love the dynamics with them :) So good, I am all smiles!

Ep 10 finale, finally got to it :) WONDERFUL. This series was iffy for me at the start but real fast drawn in by the comedy, especially Francios's antics and just the lighthearted fun side of this universe flip. The actors all nailed their roles. I swear Big better watch how hard he flips Park, he gonna break him one day LOL Love it. The visuals were stunning in the final beach scene. I almost counted this out was so surprised how much I actually enjoyed this series. Writers did a good job putting this story just where it needed to be and I smiled so big for this happy ending. The end wrapped up very well and was satisfied and this is just a fun series I liked!

Ep 9...what can I say other than those salt and sugar shakers were identical. Until ya taste the wasted food ya don't know if it was gonna be super salty or super sugary. Also that tomato eating scene I was so worried!! I could see tomato juice just leaking all over their only good shirts and I knew they only had like 2 other shirts they own so I was frightened they were gonna run out of wardrobe change. Black, beige, light blue, and white, with a white sweater in the car was a nice change :) Longest kissing scene I didn't wanna see SO CLOSE UP!! Then I see a IQIYI flash and think, huh, glitch, but about 2 minutes of old flashbacks I realized Ep 9 was over and I flipped right into watching the highlight trailer...lol...I didn't even know the ep ended HA I actually am really now enjoying this crazy series for the great laughs it is giving me. Sad 1 ep to go now....nah I lie :)

Binged eps 1-8. What is this? I took this series seriously coming into it, but by 1/3 way thru first ep I realized it became a comedy to me :) The editing inconsistency is hysterical, the BDSM/control context is frighteningly weak, and I like the actors, this direction to them isn't their fault, given a good director and script and a higher budget project might easily show their strengths, but honestly they don't even look into this series at all. Laughable....too many funny things to even mention but one is where in the classroom after being slapped by a paperback book the big ol' green plant is in the way and all of the sudden it slides out of sight and another he bites open that wrapper, me thinking a condom and it is candy, ugh...and one more funny is when he is in that black robe, I thought, WOW we might get something here, only to have him in jeans under the robe?? omg this is just a winner on bloopers and a crap series but I am smiling thru it all now and I so wanna drop this but can't, but I am compelled to watch eps 9-10 because this became addictive HAHA
