Hit finale today.....wonderful.....great ending in that it flowed well and I was grinning like a maniac thru most of it! They had me smiling big! They pair so well! Up and Poom killed their roles and rest of cast was fab! Great chem, action packed, Poom's dancing, ohhh baby and interesting story line for me. Some flaws and Dad conceding etc was too fast for me but it did wrap up super cute and complete! Fun series!

Binged it, done. 6 eps was perfect for this series. Writers knew how to pack in emotional life choices in this short series that it amazed me this was a total complete package for me. I was set to be annoyed by this wondering what could they do in 6 eps with heavy religious content as the main theme against their romance but they wowed me! All actors killed their roles, this was good!

So agree, writers smoothly jam packed so much content so well into 6 eps and it was perfect.

Same, I felt zero connect with side couple plus like mentioned their story just doesn't vibe within the series. Big disconnect for me on what the writers did here.

Yea I can see that actually now. Makes sense that the character was following their natural nasty character trait so doing the big display would win in his favor...huh. OK yea that fills in a blank spot for me a bit. Thing was Lion never had a big honest talk with Kanit so it threw me off on that proposal but your explanation sets it right in form...Cool!! Thanks.

agree, they needed to keep Lion in the story at this point but the desperation jump to his proposal just like had no story depth/redemption arc in it at all. AND I WAS like you, I knew Akki and Veha were gonna couple up and it made me sad right from the start that the writers were going to use them as the side couple. yikes! The dynamics are so off on these characters. How he treated 'the cheater' Veha for revenge for Toto, then he flips to pitying Veha and then flips to graveling about the past he didn't even experience truly. What are the writers doing? lol I feel zero chem in this couple and zero sense on them coupling up..

Very valid point! So agree...I think that is why I said in my comment that I am not feeling the side couple at all and one reason is Veha absolutely knew what he was doing and participated in confronting Kanit, with no redemption before he became the victim.....writers blew this story line with just glossing over it I think. (And what was that proposal in front of all from Lion? They are in total break up, they truly had zero talk about resolution between them and he pops a ring? Where did this nightmare come from? lol) Writers are lacking.

Binged eps. 1-6 and I am liking it because of Tay and New, but story line is too goofy clumsy. Rom-com script is a bit disappointing overall but story is kinda solid and holding its' own for me because of Tay and New. Side couple I don't feel that connection for chem at all, feels forced, like this couple was just added for?? weird effect? the side piece to Kanit's boyfriend....shivers. But with Tay and New you can feel their years of experience just bonding them together and I love watching them :) With 4 eps to go wondering what annoying trouble they are going to cook up to keep this interesting? (and what is it with poop? everyone has to shit and again then at important moments they say they have to poop, I find the over dramatic I have to poop now scenes so lame, script writers' cop out, ugh, especially when we are talking series based on 30yr old plus characters. LOL Just a pet peeve I wish was cut out of this story. Personal preference on not liking to have to poop scenes to move a story line forward)

watched trailer again....Arm's character seems interesting cause I am wondering how far from grace is he gonna fall and how greedy is he gonna get?

Finale.....WTH was that? Series tanked for me with the finale. Show had tons of emotional depth but none of it was truly explored to me, it wrapped too fast, rushed with BS ending with Dad issue for me with that 30 second backstory and a pic? and ending overall left it way too open. Like another person commented, the meteor story line ruined this and that big ass meteor story going to hit their town was basically ignored? Nope. Sad it tracked like this, potential was thru the roof but it went off half cocked...aww... most watch a story for a complete and finalized picture as a whole, this just left me with....make up my own damn ending....boo....like I wanted that? I watch for the story, not for me to make up my own ending later, but to be wowed by a satisfying ending.---personal preference on how I like my series lol

I liked it. Surprised reviews on main page trashed this LOL It was an easy going, sown burn building of a relationship and I never felt it was in slo mo, it just kept moving forward slowly, which was ok for me. Actors all did well! It had an overall chill vibe to it for me that kept me interested. Just right amt of eps, no dragging this out farther, it works for me as a good solid series. Could it been a bit better in the script etc. sure, but it was a good complete story to me.

Agree, what drew me in was the slow burn romance between them, it also just smoothly glided along with them changing their dynamics as they became closer. Very calm overall vibe is what I took away from this, and it's ok, all series doesn't have to be over the top insane drama! I got chills in that hospital confession scene and the music increased right at the perfect time...it hooked me right in lol

I agree with you on this one...it isn't a binge watch series. I just binged The Lie We Lived, 8 total, shorter eps and I was all in it, loved it for the high tension and angst and plot line......but it was bingeable for me to enjoy.....I totally agree that ChermChey is a relaxing, overly whacky type show that if taken in bits, more of like 2-3 eps at a time one can then digest it easier :) You made a good point on that!! Every series has their niche right? I think those overly abused SFXs also made me think of Wooju Bakery lol Sometimes those SFXs just can make me hysterical annoyed HA

Loved it!!! The edge of your seat right out of the gate and the tension, angst never let up. I was so into each episode!! Actors killed their roles!! Plot also was not overly evolved which surprised me when it was revealed which made this story line a bit more believable, a hometown crime going down, not a huge blown up megacorp etc...just local horrible crime. The finale was polar opposite against the high tension of the other eps, it was serene, calming and comforting at the end and I was all for these dudes to have a happy life :) I thought it was great, so enjoyed it.....one thing tho NC scenes, what little there was, should have been more intense for the stress they were under and that wild psycho attraction that was happening, not explicit I wanted, I just wanted more intensity of the scenes but overall I enjoyed the hell out of this :)
