When did A'Sun fought with him? Actually fought with him with weapons and physically? I don't remember.

Mu Jin's love story was really good too ,, sometimes I felt the actor isn't experienced enough or just the role…
Mujin is one of my favourite characters in the drama! He's the one who brought va little comic relief to us and that one particular side of Sun to us. I felt he was on point with his emotions and very subtle, a companion you would want be it as a friend or a partner. I even felt that the acting he did within the drama infront of Yicheng was quite on point too. Anyone would believe his statements.

I made a post in the discussion section bcoz I'm tired of writing the same thing again and again, to repeat myself every time. I want more people to read it and realize what's going on.

If you want to know Changge's side of things and whether she loved A'Sun enough or not then just read it. It has some important points.

Hope it clears things for you.

Now when you said it, I thought that gesun indeed were shown in drama a bit like a BL couple 😀 I mean, all…
It's fine to reply whenever you can reply but here I'm tired of writing the same things again and again for people to understand. I have never here degraded Haoyan, all I do is to analyze the structure of the plot with them. Sometimes I've got too technical because I believed that every character or relationship played a crucial part in the drama. I was analyzing them and everyone else and I've never shut my eyes on them. Me writing these things again has assured me that the average audience will only see what serve to them on a platter, for complicated characters you need to pick the spoon and the plate yourself. You gotta work your brain a little.

Let me put forward my opinion once again. Who are these viewers and Where do they come from? What will take them to realize that this drama has bloomed out of the tragedy? What did they want? For Changge to run out of Changan, fell into Sun's arm, dance on few songs with him like in Bollywood and forget that her world just flipped leaving her an orphan and completely abandoned and then living her happily ever after with him being his wife. Will that satisfy our average viewers? sticking 24*7 with Sun and losing herself completely? I have noticed again and again across the globe that people deny the female protagonist's feelings because they do not relate with it as strong women have a different definition of romance. They do not believe in being weak in the relationship just so that viewers can accept her love feelings.

I'm going a bit technical here but bear with it for a while. I would like to critique this whole idea of so-called romance now bcoz here only one kind of love story is a real love story everything other makes a woman emotionless, a rock. This romance narrative has particular criteria related to it like it should only be a male-female story, a man with whom woman needs to fall in love must be two inches taller than her, elder than her and many such things maybe that's why people cannot digest Raba being older than Leo. Love and romance are two different things. The whole point of romance is that the woman must be smaller, cute and diminutive while the man should be an adult at least behave like one. The romance you are talking about is appropriate to patriarchy and critiqued by feminists.

Now, coming back to the story. Changge does not have time to understand or process the love from A'Sun initially. She was depressed, disturbed and obsessed with revenge, she was just fifteen getting her first period. Mind you that time of fifteen is today's ten. Till ep 26 you can see glimpses of her acknowledging his feelings for her but she was too occupied. At the temple, she got time to introspect and there you can see she was missing Sun but was convinced he won't come for her as she has hurt him deeply. After episode 31, it's all about them exploring their love for each other and their love language was with actions rather than vocal much like how mature love is. Their relationship is very mature. Changge does not need to keep falling into Sun for you to realize she loves him. For a long time, she has already made Sun part of her plans. She does not need to hang around him all day and night to secure her love, it was well secured with trust and confidence from both the side. They do not need to be in the same frame to convey that they are together for years to come. Maybe writers forgot that people don't usually get it until you spell it all out to them.

Indeed people who can't digest feminist portrayals/ Strong female leads and their strong idea will feel that she has no emotions for her man, it must be one-sided for them

I've been planning to watch this but no courage to actually start. Just one question, is dilraba's character overwhelmingly…
For me, she is that FL I always wanted. Don't worry she grew a lot but never becomes dumb. She is a role model and have the best character arc.

I cannot explain enough that love, romance and everything related cannotbe defined. It isn't a fixed box where you'll find these particular things. Each box is unique to everyone!

Okay this comment got me. Gesun is BIT like a BL couple for you because they were equal in every thing? Because they are strong, fierce, brave, courageous hence masculine? There love cannot come across as normal romance bcoz the woman here is on par with her male partner. When both are equally strong they can only be called BL as women are supposed to be feminine. Romance where woman is weak and wait for her lover to rescue is real romance bcoz to wait and cry is actually what woman do. The equality can exist between man-man but not man-woman? If she's on par with ML then to see her actions as musculine , does this even make sense?
Anything that's equal in love is BL? This was such a patriarchal comment.

Exactly! Changge flipped his view of entire gender, made him realised how capable women can be if trained. I remember MuJin beung too shocked bcoz indeed it was a radical idea back then. Sun has always seen women opposite of Changge, his mother, Yicheng and others from his tribe. I loved that he readily accepted this new idea of women being strong. He does not question them. He was happy to discover this strength. Lol.
And your imagined scenario at the end is best!

Title The Long Ballad Spoiler
I really really loved Hao do and Lian's love story than the Main leadsthe journey that lian went through and her…
For me, A'Sun initally was interested in him for her capabilities and circumstances when she was disguised as a boy. If you remember Sun was a staunch enemy of Tang initially keeping an eye on the palace and the events unfolding there. He was curious of this lad as he keep discovering intersting things about him. It was never romantic at this point. He was just curious thinking the lad is enemy of his enemy and that's it with it. At ep 5, when he found out that he is a she, he was embarassed at his actions and from then on Changge impressed him just too much. He was awed by this woman at every step, at her bravery and strength. He discovered more and more of her character. Ashile camp doesn't have women doing all this... They are the ones depending on their men. He ordered the girls of his camp to be trained in everything as soon as he returns to his home because he was inspired by this particular woman. His love started from admiration and respect and gradually developed so strong that nothing could come between them. They have each other as there biggest strength. Yicheng teased Sun that how can he have a weakness now referencing Changge but she was too off about it. Changge has always been his strength. Sun definitely has feelings for Changge before taking her to grasslands but it was only during grasslands that his love strengthen for her but Changge still was fighting with other demons inside and outside, she was struggling with her life which doesn't let her think much about Sun's feelings and he understood that. But if you have watched episodes 23-30 you would know, it has already begun from Changge's side too. She realised it during her time at temple and was assured of it when Sun came to her, held her hand and ran with her. It cemented between them then. After that they were just exploring there love for each other, learning more about it as was their first time falling in love.

No one kill you here for your logical comments, no one. Discuss and discuss more of your issues with the drama so things can get clear more and then you'll be able to give your 100% to the drama like it did to you.

I've finished the drama yesterday ,, I binged watching the last ten episodes in one setting and My head hurt a…
Your prejudices over there age hindered you from experiencing one of the great romances ever, healthy and deep. Maybe you can try rewatching there scene without these pre judgements. Hope the comments down below will help you to overcome this.

And about Changge's personality being too strong then her love interest is exactly what this drama wanted to portray you. She is a very strong character in this drama across all genders. Love cannot overshadow your personality and control you, if that happens then is it really love? They were the two strong Characters who came together building their relationship over time giving it depth. There have immense respect and confidence in each other. I've made a recent post on Li Changge if you want to read. It talks about some of your issues. I'm repeating here but ig it's needed. Li Changge is too strong of a lady, capable to do everything on her own. Sun isn't needed in her life but wanted. I found the relationship between them the healthiest in the dramaland.

The issues you are talking about in your last line is well about family. Families are the most complicated system on this planet. It's hard to hate them nad sometimes it's harder to love them. Answers to family issues can never be straight. This experience of mine is very personal. You want to hate your family because you are aware of how bad they are but when you saw them helpless, you cannot shut your eyes, you cry with them and for them. Familial relations is this. It's hardest to cut the ties with them. You should re-watch it all to get why her uncle was caring for her and why she forgave him by the end. As A'Sun said, emotions are very complicated, sometimes they are hard to understand. They are fickle when it comes to family and it's true for Sun's father too.

If the uncle hasn't killed Changge's father then her father would have killed all his family. The uncle never wanted to kill Changge and her mother. He loved them till the end. Changge too hasn't forgave him for killing her family, she cannot ever forget that. She forgave bcoz she's aware it was unavoidable. There was no way out, it was either this or that family. That's why left Changan forever. It's hard to come to terms with all these conflicting emotions. She wrapped it up all with peace.
