The rich girl made no sense: why would she be playing piano on a weekly basis in a church if she is Buddhist? And…
Playing the piano; I'm guessing that she's doing it to please her father and also to hide her true self. Pysch treatment; Probably she didn't also have the freedom to make any decisions in her life making her miserable all the time hence the pysch treatment.
Eh, well I was predicting that someone could've torn the dress so that the wedding will be a failure and the bride's family will not have the chance to unite with the chabeol family and get their fortune but it wasn't explained. Guess we will never have the actual answer for this. It could be a mere coincidence.
can anyone tell my why lee hyun became king? i skipped to the last ep bc i cant stand watching the other episodes…
Because Prince Jehyeon who was supposed to take the throne got killed and Prince Wonsan didn't manage to grab the throne as well. The next possible king selected was Prince Hyun after King Hwi got dethroned.
In the final episode, did Prince Won San actually die? The grandfather told the physician to treat him and make sure he's alive. I felt there wasn't a proper closure for this part. I might be wrong tho xD
And the other part was, did the ex-queen referred to the ex-king when she said the 'norigae' (pink object) suits for 'his majesty'? I kinda feel that the ex-queen still has feelings for the ex-king even after knowing the truth.
I felt bad for Prince Jehyeon, he didn't deserve to be killed like that :'(
All in all, I'm glad they gave this drama a happy ending instead of sad one like the manhwa version.
Almost cried when Seok Jo cried for Officer Yoon :'( Now I predict that Seok Jo will now soon turn against the grandfather and help protect the king because either way the grandfather will come for him and his family if the king's identity is revealed.
He wasn't blackmailing him. He just obeys his master's orders. There is no way out, he will either do it or he…
Ah yeah my bad for using wrong choice of word. It's more like having to face consequences for choosing to follow the grandfather. Somehow I can't help but to feel that there might be a possibility of him feeling guilty for choosing to follow the king's grandfather in the later episodes. The scene where Commander Yoon questioned him at the bridge may be used to reflect his decision. Then again it's just my thoughts. Can't wait for the next episode :)
The look on Ji-Un's dad, the realization... I wonder if he'll have that regretful conscience after realizing what had happened. I believe Ji-Un's dad might have been a good ally to the former king and current king if it wasn't the evil grandfather blackmailing him all this while
I can sense more heartbreak in the upcoming episodes. Just when we have that light-hearted moments but now it will be darker as the story goes on. Hoping for either happy or sad ending and not just an open ended ending because it will make me wonder a lot of 'what ifs' after the series ended xD
On a side note, the title now fits with the king being affectionate with her secret love :')
I thought that Ji-Un will finally know the CP's identity when they kissed from what I've seen in episode 12 preview but boy I was wrong. The big reveal at the end was beautifully conveyed. No words can describe the scene, it just felt natural letting the confession out openly. I just love the progression in this episode! Now the politics is heating up :o
