Ep. 23-24 gave a huge impact to the story and the mystery about the death of ML mother... What the emperor did was the right thing, to choose his first son as CP because he don't want anyone else but he failed to as a father. He maybe a wise ruler but he's a weak minded father. His wife, the empress was right too, after she became empress she learn that royalty was a very bad place and eagerly oppose anyone recommend her son as CP, but what the prime minister did definitely an assh0le decision... He deserve to be a miserable bast@rd. This drama should've title the titular character of a Female Lead because without her the plot seems to move too slow but she made the drama interesting, look at male lead he nearly became mindless killing machine without her, damn! that's crazy indeed... Meanwhile the princess is struggling pleasing the 1st prince too ridiculous to watch. If she knew her father fell ill, she might definitely want to go back ASAP!
This drama so strange indeed, i know that it's intentionally made that way to avoid typical cdrama vibe because the first two episodes, i was like the cr@zy b!tch is more beautiful than the female lead who had a huge scar on her face but i thought all is well because this might be a new idea for a drama, it might be that the male lead didn't care about facial beauty but because of her character and personality. However later the cr@zy b!tch was the main female lead, i was like OH NO!!! I ALREADY LIKE THE SCAR FACE FL, HOW COME!!! ok maybe because the FL is lucky for a second chance with bonus that now she's a beauty and no more scar... but is it accurate to say it's fantasy?? it's more like supernatural and yeah alot of sequences was mentioned the supernatural case NOT FANTASY there's a different. The swap witchcraft thing was never mention (the origin of it, even though it's a real magic) till the end and never shown again the original body of the FL left freezing in the cave ... it's a bit ridiculous but i'd still accept it because the male lead portrayed by Xue Yi has the best role in here from his the other 2dramas i watched (PRINCESS GAMBIT & A MOMENT BUT FOREVER) where both of his characters in those two so dull and boring. This is the 1st drama i watched starring Jing Yi, she's too cute and talented... her beauty so captivating indeed. The main protagonist so sneaky and cunning but also very cruel and evil, and the climax of ep.32 definitely worth investing, the boosting of wild card is very dramatic and interesting. One or two sequences has great directing and cinematography , i praise it. Another thing that disappoint me greatly, that the ml fl chemistry so well written until it was shift to romantic bonding chemistry that it lack too much, how did the two so wholeheartedly love to one another only kiss once?! ... this is serious to me, since the romance in this good plot needs to be good too but they just act like they've been a married couple who already had kids, meanwhile the 2nd lead ml didn't show much his love to the 2ndfl who madly in love with him yet they already having a honeymoon night!!! gadayum!! Also one thing i'm a bit confuse, if fl lead is in a body of Zhi who is a very obsessed girl who only care about chemical related to her beauty so she can charm others especially Yue then i'm pretty sure the medical beauty homemade product already affected her from having children, this possible because her make-up product so weird and bizzare indeed and the ending didn't show the leads having children but just end by panning up the sky (or because Mr.PAN is there LOL). Anyway it's a good drama with a lot of flaws just to avoid typical drama vibe which became a bit unstable for the viewer's like me to invest on the genre that raise some unanswered question. The sequel was hint very clearly in the end but will it really continue? i doubt it
The fact that the FL so smart, she's honest to her lover... YES!! this is it, I'm fully invest in her that it made me really like this drama. This drama has ep. 38 and we reached ep. 22 as of now, which is literally means during these time of episode the antagonists team always unbeatable... Then in the near ending of the episode's the protagonists team got their chance spectacularly. I hope the terminal illness of the emperor is fake so that he can witness the biggest corruption in his lifetime.

Whao whao who! Hold on! Your theory might be possible and may not but if it's really happened then it's obvious that this drama plot line is always about trusting the good people who turn out to be planning to betray at anytime any moment...
My suspicion of who's the mask villain was right all along.... When the ML too close to an antagonist but still try his best to find him will definitely shatter his heart to pieces. Man the main villain suppose to be the ML brother in law but now it's confirmed that he's just a pitiful character who fight his own right with hypocrisy which is a very toxic way to do. Meanwhile the good characters in the drama fought their rights with righteousness.
Ep. 17-18... Another great episodes, wow! If only the ML's brother in law love the princess, her love might become a peace but instead he didn't and her love turn to toxicity which became obsession... Damn! What an unfortunate it turn out. The romance of the leads is getting stronger... I love it! It written so well from kissing scene to defying the emperor decree! It's utterly phenomenal indeed.
This movie is just weird and bizarre . I know it has a lot of reference from Hollywood movies as a parody (like terminator, man of Steel, brightburn, etc) . It genre doesn't have comedy?? Instead it's horror, I do feel this movie force too much to be funny. This is abysmal kmovie. Also it's like a movie always about the husband want to kill the wife and she want to protect herself by planning to kill him. The slapstick is just boring.
As of now [Ep.16] this drama just became one of the masterpiece of the year. And i'm afraid that it has 38 episodes and it's too early to celebrate, if this drama balance between the line just like it did now then there's no problem with it because most cdrama didn't able to stay strong if it's too early to be too good. Li Qin so gorgeous and attractive, man her role is so amazing, even the Zhe Yuan role's has nice character development too. It's rare to see a drama where the elder became older when the ML FL growing from young to old age, they completely look the same. like The empress in this drama look the same as when the ML still young (15 years ago), maybe because she's an empress, there's a lot of healthy food and better medicine but what about Wu Ying the trainer in the death camp? she look totally the same as when FL younger time. its silly but hey, it's a nice drama, i'm just gonna enjoy it.
This drama worth the wait... Ep. 14 just introduce the first romantic sequence in the drama, very smooth 👏🏼. The ML has no one now, only the FL that's all he got. His brother too young to understand, his sister is blind with love, his father either corrupted or just pathetically stupid and his step-mother empress who's a corrupted puppet control by her father, a goddamn sneaky villain.
This drama nailed in many ways and failed it in most too... I like the ML FL.. They are great, though their story so simple and has many flaws but their chemistry and characters development definitely worth investing. The FL close friend character development so dumb, Lin Nuo has badly written, even though in the ep. 23-24 they have nice going on between them but I think it's incomplete. I love the FL sister, she's very attractive, hot and gorgeous but her character development so weak and full of excuse also Lu Yu, her love interest was the most pathetic, dumb and immature character in the drama, his character development so childish, I already gave up. The ML classmate who romantically like him so beautiful and so mature, I really like her but seems like she's too late to help the ML when he's desperate to do white lie. Anyway this drama is good but the supporting characters has too much to disturb the peace of the main plot.
