i liked the ML FL... their chemistry so funny... the writings on rom-com deserve praised but the main plot and other characters so poorly executed.
Jo Hye Joo so beautiful but her character so ridiculous, MinHwan was definitely an evil character but in the later episodes 11-12 his plan so dumb for the sake of the plot, his adoptive mother really loved him, she knew what he did but still gave him hope that after he paid all his wrong doing he will be welcome back to normal society... wtf!!! he's literally having revenge plan for ML FL... come on, also I look it up online for the criminal case in south korea; firstly MinHwan ignore his brother when he's in danger and let him die, that's minimum 5years in prisons and some case 10 to 25 years, in this case, a video proof it he's in direct contact... maybe more than 10years?? secondly he committed murder and it's on video prove, that's either 20-30years or life in prison... thirdly, he attempted murder, that's 5years in prison and lastly, he bribe (high level people) and cover up his crime that's either 5 to 10 years or life in prison (high level corruption) okay then will MinHwan stuck in prison for 50+years??!!
I liked this drama but after halfway through it doesn't have much to show them ep.11 underwelmed me and the last episode just concluded everything but also the OST so good

yeah that maybe the reason... watching this drama feels like I'm watching Immortal Ascension, no romance only ML trying his best to be a survivor, however so many gorgeous women are having a crush on him.... Pull Strings also felt similar but comedy was the main attraction in the plot and the slapstick so funny🤣🤣🤣...
The only thing I can say about this drama that ITS NOT FAIR was it's title GENIUS GIRLFRIEND (or am I wrong, I may meant A FRIEND WHO IS A GIRL i.e. Girlfriend) ... I was hooked by it's title, I'm a Tian Xiwei fan and she's the cutest actress in the nation I've ever seen, but then the drama was not about the Girlfriend stuff it's always about the Genius stuff... I'm not a fan of highschool storyline but this drama was exceptional because Tian Xiwei fit the role so well as if she's really a 16-17years old super high-IQ girl... truth be told, only 3 episodes (26-28) that the FL became the genius girlfriend... i praised the emotional lonely plot of the ML it brought tears in my eyes and I added 1 more point for its best timing of well made OST to both romantic and emotional sequences 👏🏼❤️
The Highschool part was fun to watch and kinda funny a bit, the adulthood part was kinda mixed reactions from me, yes I liked ML FL till the end, Baihui and FL's brother relationship was pretty decent, but Tingting and Qiyan so dull and misfired relationship there, both of them so similar in personality, they maybe adult with responsibility but when they met each other they act like a child(their future will not stable, they'll keep on acting childish and immature to one another), each of them deserve a better love partner who's matured like the Waitress for Qiyan but for Tingting there's always someone, not the actor Su Mo, he wasn't for her either. i prefer the story of FuXuan and his patient at the hospital, it's sad yet very reasonable relationship they have. Also it's pretty easy to make Tian Xiwei character going from young age to older age, they just changed her hair from having bang to no bang😁
well made drama but has too many flaws but still it's enjoyable and watchable with ease especially the OST so good❤️

what happened when IMMORTAL ASCENSION and GUARDIANS OF THE DAFENG merge into one...that's when this drama comes.... this movies has well done special/practical effects in most scenes and the vfx/CGI definitely the best in some scenes but the overused of vfx/CGI made this movie too artificial compare to its predecessor.... Dilraba and Aimi so awesome in this movie, though i can see that just because this movie has to extremely funny with well written comedy slapstick... they couldn't avoid the ridiculousness of the plot, the silliness of the characters development and the goofiness screenplay. Overall it's an enjoyable comedy movie by Stephen Chow. Also I think this feels like a nostalgic bait for viewers/audiences from it's cameos scenes to BGM

if you are talking about the 35episodes version then ML confess he liked FL romantically but she didn't take it seriously but in ep.26 she finally accept and start dating which misunderstanding situations was there but zero breakup between them... ML/FL engage in a new hardship i.e. whether FL's mother accept her daughter decision or not? how ML really determined to prove he's sincere to truly loved the FL!

oh my God!!!! the most flawless FL I've ever seen... she's kind, reasonable and hardworking woman also she's super gorgeous 😍... I really loved Qin Lan character in this drama, her performance so beautifully well done! 🥰, Dylan Wang did a great job as well but his character isn't completely perfect (he's still childish and all that) but good enough. The romance and chemistry was so good its very emotional. Mr Xu fell in love with FL, though he's not a bad guy he's reasonable, competent businessman and professional later he failed but he accept it, Mr. Gu was another guy who wooing FL, though he's not a bad guy either, he's just arrogant and narcissistic b@stard🤣 it's ridiculous to watch.

What I'm trying to say was this drama always about the sufferings and the miserable of ML FL while evildoers got the advantage... This drama was Unreal! I praised Geng Xing and Li Ying in The Legend of Shen Li and it's the first Cdrama that made me become a cdrama fans... Princess Agents has the same leads but super different yet it won the best drama of the year for its success popularity! no wonder the ending of Princess Agent so similar to TLoS where ML dies but in TLoS, the ML was resurrected with spectacular happy ending.

But look at her busy following 2ndML in his hatred war, this drama should've been among the best written drama of all time if they reduce the 2ndML characters arc and focus more on FL because I thought this drama was FL centric storyline but it seems I'm wrong because it ensemble multiple characters in one plot like princess Liang or the Afterlife Assassin or noble consort of the emperor.
The main villain Yuwen Huai was a very entertaining character, he maybe toxic as fck but boy it's very interesting to see his performance... Too bad he just disappear then the moment he appeared he got killed by FL.
