after FL and ML got married this drama never the same again, it's like PoJ first half was masterpiece and the 2nd half was meeeh... why do they make the Female Lead feels like a goddess decended from heaven among humans in a very ordinary physical form which literally made Male Lead doesn't deserve her, she's the Main Character in this drama meanwhile the ML sometimes have a reasonable role to do and most of the time he's just useless like an NPC

wtf wrong with ML, he acts like a spoil rich immature boy.... just because he have to go to the capital he always priorities what he want, he drugged the FL without her consent (even though she's about to agree), is this supposed to be funny or romantic... it's just lazy writings. First he forced the FL to marry him with Emperor Decree, then he forced her to to with him to the capital (even though she need to go to, but what if she still didn't want) and now he's intentionally half naked infront of her so she can like him more? what in the actual a$$ going on in the ML's head. The ML change from badass, calculative, considerate and gentleman to a childish, immature, hesitation and ordinary... should it be blame for his marriage to FL?? I guess yes because it's the first thing he actually selfishly decided by his own for a marriage without his or FL's family consent.

Ji'er already got bought by merchant before FL, okay FL seems to be so distressed because now her main purpose is to buy Ji'er freedom just like she promised!
the drama didn't show anything that Scholar confess face to face with FL, did she agree? because what I see is that Scholar and his family only agreed with FL's family not the FL herself, That's sounds like a selfish Scholar especially when he want to marry her in a rushed. I know he looks like a good guy who save the FL twice and even made our ML has 0.1 % chance to win over FL.
But the fact that this drama made a cheat code for the ML to marry the FL it's because her fate and his was already tied a knot since the day they were meant to be married... okay now that's reasonable.
The half a month later, the Scholar walks to announce his marriage to the FL's placeand it seems the FL's already listening in the corner (not shown though) ... okay now this confused me greatly... If FL's agree then that's meant she's already abandoned her purpose to rescue Ji'er because when she got married didn't she think carefully she'll be independent to earn money or roaming around the city ?? FL's is a very genius girl so she should understand what will happen if she got married, but she just hope that Ji'er live a good life under that merchant, HOPE is not enough... where's her strategical ability? she's the FL always do something not just talk about it ... okay all is null and void when the main purpose of FL was to Live Just like her mother want... that's just underwhelming the character development of FL....
