PEB as the FL really did a great job, she's so adorable and charming as well as our ML, he delivers so many comedy on screen it's funny to watch 🤣. The strong chemistry and romance so beautiful and Min Hwan was a total jerk son of a b*tch... he knew what happened to FL 6years ago, he was there when she need someone but what did he do? he gave an excuse and focus on his own occupation, wtf?! now he regret because the ML appears.... also Min Hwan was there 12 years ago, I'm sure he's 100% connected to the dead of FL's close friend who always appear as if he's not at peace because the murderer was Min Hwan all along.... what if the dead friend of FL was actually the guy who donated his heart? or am I mistaken?
the first time I saw the trailer months ago, i already decided to not watch it, even though I'm a huge fan of wang Churan but Rep-era cdrama isn't my cup of tea.... now I see the negative reviews online for its ridiculous vfx and silly plot and direction... I wonder how much douban rating this will get, 2.5? 3.5? ... it's kind of interesting drama because it will be so bad drama but so good too... look at the clip Zhang Linghe dive to save FL in a very shallow river made me laugh 🤣
how they used old school kdrama formula like accidental romantic moments to ML pops up out of no where so hilarious to watch especially how they write the ML's character development... he's a scaredy cat and workaholic but he's also don't give up in a fight and considerate to FL with respect...
in kdrama every 2episodes there's strong cliffhanger or strong surprised and in this case ep.6 definitely made it grand... The drama maybe not the best but I like it for its comedy and romantic chemistry ... PEB really did a great job!!!
Park Eun Bin performance so mind blowing... her character as Attorney Woo or character from WONDERFOOL was opposite to this... god she's pure talent, also this drama is full on comedy 🤣...
i really liked this drama... All because how they made the ML such a reasonable guy, open minded, calm and matured... The FL blend in with ML that's what matter Also their chemistry romance so well done👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.... The 2nd couple was just a fan service, though it's fine since they just appeared too little, if their sequences are made too much screentime it would've been disappointed for me.

Edward Guo's drama is not my cup of tea... I'm a fan of Ju Jingyi and Wang churan, i didn't like Veil of Shadow and now Hidden Shadow already doubt me... his directing style from camera movement style to its theme and grading feels too isolated and boring
I've seen so many historical drama that has surprised conclusion to the drama, it's mainly known as Fan Service and most of them works but imo this drama fails to do so... Ep.1-20 & Ep.32-35 has the best plot among the greatest in decade... Ep.21-25 has a bit slow but still stable and very interesting then Ep.26-31 which is by-far too disappointed attempt but okay it's still enjoyable to watch then Ep.36, the way they conclude it by making a ML pop up 4years later... i was like, man... i was betrayed 😑... Special Ep. just another extension from Ep.36... what a dumb decision, I can see how they decide what happened to the ML and the FL used up all her ability to fight against odd without ML... If they made the drama end like that, it deserve high praise indeed... we found out who's the main antagonist all along, Whereas Prince Xin actually a good guy but unable to live because he's overly obsessed with FL also his mother a very toxic b!tch, The emperor become a good father and a good ruler but still a bad person for murder so many innocent lives. Prince ChangYing convince his older brother by trying to kill himself not fight? that's a very stupid idea.

I'm at episodes.30 and I could say ep.1-20 it's undeniably the best plot I've seen in a long time (a 10 out of 10)... then ep.21-28 went downhill slower and slower however ep.29 have me mixed to positive reaction which made ep.30 feel refreshing because it seems the main antagonist start to resurface and boy oh boy that ending at ep.30 so hot and tbh made me arouse for Meng Ziyi🥵❤️
