4.its has happy ending, where ML and FL leave all behind and want to live in remote area and having kids on their own.

This drama so great only when the romance focus on the leads💯. But I can still say the plot bothers me, it's plain, dumb, lazy, lifeless and too bland, at first the plot is weak which is okay like any other typical cdrama but then it's getting worse till it cross the line of no saving at all. The drama exists because they established a romance so strong that the plot generate from it, which is rare for a cdrama... Other cdrama exists because of a plot and the romance follow behind, but in this drama first of all it's worth watching when I see the leads, other than that it's boring. Example ; the prince who later became emperor character development is sh!t, he love the FL but then fake her death to bait the ML and if he didn't show up he let her die for real where he married her when she died and announced to the world she's the empress, wait what?! Is he mentally ret@rded or something? He's a sneaky lying son of a b*tch, he will never change Also LuXin, she care so much for the FL like a sister and really against killing someone whether they are bad or good people because a life is a life but then when FL was captured by the ML who forgot his past, she said to MoYin he should kill the ML but MoYin were against it but later when the ML said he need the jade longling because it could be a way to save the FL, LuXin without hesitation she argue, No! because it's Wuling treasure... What in the actual a$$. Also she's a very eccentric woman who act first think later, like when she steals valuable medicine from Wuling just to help people outside without the permission of Wuling mountain, she's not taking it seriously... She's too immature but mature at the same time(right here it show how much the writings failed to improve a character) - - - the plot so bad it's scary to watch sometimes.

Anyway the more I watch till the end I'm getting bored but the chemistry between the leads definitely worth watching! It's like the plot on her0ine, the screenplay on c0caine and the romance of the leads on Ster0id!

I love this drama, it's so well written but I'm only talking about the romance of the leads, it's the reason I watch it too other that like storyline/plot it's utterly very weak.

i was like man this drama might definitely be good since its a modern era cdrama it end at 26-30 episodes but 45??... i'd have to watch the other 26-30 ep. cdrama for now

So far episode 1 there's nothing yet but the mysteries is strong. The mother-son relationship might be a very strange as of now but sooner or later it's definitely a misunderstanding between them where the son eventually came back to his mother side.

Of Course he should be, he's the ML in the drama release month ago YOUR AFFECTIONATE EYES... another entertaining modern era cdrama

Oh hell no! The new emperor just found out who's Ji'an real identity!!! Theres going to be a chaotic situation in the upcoming episodes... I feel sad for the ML, his mind is conflicted right now between his true identity, his love life and his target to kill his father in law, he keeps remembering bit by bit... He forgot the importance part that his brother wasn't mainly of his father in law fault but mainly because of the empress and her RHM.

Wang Ying Lu performance definitely deserve recognition, well done & Arthur Chen so good too, very beautiful romance story, though it's not strong enough when it comes to the plot/storyline, it's somewhat slow however whenever the story arc to end because it's limited the writers add new and unexpected ideas to extend the drama, no wonder it ends not more than ep. 33, it's enough. The ending gave the fan service and I think it's very clever decision indeed👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.
The FL stuck for 37years inside her dream of alternate universe of historical fantasy then wake up and back to work with no time to rest, damn! She must be tired and also Sima jiao as her boss in the dream and in modern era version he became her boss too... It's more than coincidence and more like fate and destiny intertwined together.

His character going to be a rich spoil-brat right?

ML & FL already copulate while the ML still have a Jade Linglong inside his body, will his baby going to become a superhuman strength??!! this drama could spawn a sequel in which it focus on the ML-FL son/daughter is a superhero

Wow! Finally they got married (sorry prince or should I say emperor mu yang, you can suck Yr mum🤣)... If Ryan Cheng kisses so well perform wait until his kiss in Mo Li because Bai Lu is by far the best kisser of all the actress I've seen, it's going to be spicy🔥.
8episodes to go, the empress RHM already RIP, so now the ML either surprise the FL his true version and rescue his brother, punish the empress and then deal with emperor mu yang.
The scene I'm waiting is ML ask the FL's dad to bless him as his Son in Law! It's gonna be fun.
This drama has strong romance and even the plot depend on it, that's why even the plot is weak but the romance is too strong and I like it (that's the cheat code right there), most cdrama made the romance to follow the plot, and I find most of them failed)

My boi Arhur and the beautiful Dilraba, this drama is going to be fun! i just saw their clip online interviewed after a shoot, i thought it's already announced the released date... seems like it will be release somewhere around January or February 2026

This drama is another typical historical fantasy drama, the plot has so many layers that made me so exhausted to think straight, for those who watch drama for fun, this is it. But for me who watch it as a fan i find it too ridiculous. The director and the screenwriter are understand each other but still has many of the sequences relates to the plot to be misfired. The Zhi dai and Tang hua romance storyline was very good i like it and it conclude reasonably but for the Leads its very unpredictable, their character development was unstable i don't get it however one thing i like about them was Tiffany performance in some scenes so powerful, thats it. The plot especially when it comes to Heaven where the gods exists its so goofy. Anyway all the female characters so gorgeous in this drama i fell in love all of them thats why i stay till the end, even the war demon villain women so attractive!
Moreover, the best thing about this drama was the visual effects, its neat and well done in most of the scenes/sequences.

Maaan.... Muyan the CP became the most despicable character in the drama he's even worse than Prince Li, he's dumb when it comes to doing good thing and smart doing villain's objective. I feel sad for my boy ML, he's suffering 😢. Hope the next episode did him right and let the spectacular romantic moment alive again!

I can't help but compare this drama with LotFG, because of the same ML... In LotFG they had to make the FL be strong and independent woman and the romance is good but not strong enough and the plot is weak but this drama (Shadow Love) the romance so strong and filled with beautiful chemistry in every scenes between the leads however the plot is weak too.
The right hand man of empress seems to be so in love with her but she always ignore him and order him like a dog. One day he'll snapped and became ultimate villain in the drama even the empress lose eventually, she's kinda crazy though.
Moyin is unreliable, he think he can extract the ML power but I don't think he can keep it safe from his senior bad guy. He should've investigate how his grandmaster die while searching for ML power but naaah he's just too dumb also the two prince's are both dumb and weak.
ML original self really resemble his character from MY JOURNEY TO YOU. He's about to forget everything, I hope the way he start remembering in a very reasonable enough to convince the viewer.
I disagree with the antifan of Song Yi as they compare with LotFG because this drama is about a amnesia ML encounter the General FL and that's how the plot began... The political issue is little and the fantasy combination definitely well insert.

Finally the band appreciate the good heart of ML👍🏼.
let me say this Kang Du Won (manager) is a f**king disgusting character, he might be the 3rd rate villain in this drama or he's not but I can tell his arrogance attitude like an a**hole. His past self was a pathetic coward son of a b***h, Hope he got his own karma. What kind of manager force his actress to sell her body, what a f**king b*st*rd he is! Hui Yeong on the other hand became rise to fame by becoming a shameless girl behind the camera, if only she's not obsessed with becoming famous she might be a very innocent and good heart character.
The ML already fell in love with the FL since 25years ago, very heart warming epilogue 👏🏼❤️
