That was pure snark mocking the faults found with first episode. I did find one scene funny later in the drama. But it was with three friends in hospital and just an aside. The drama itself is riveting drama and not geared to humor.

No. There are a few asides that are humorous but for the most part it is intense back and forth battle of wits.

You might want to change your 5’s to 10’s at the bottom as details do matter. Your written reviews tend to be spot on and can be quite brilliant. Your numbers however,…. when you told a member that your number ranking was simply leveraging hype numbers, that was a huge disappointment. There is really no counter to the phone gaffe, that was an easily avoided mistake. But if you say you’re all about the drama and not the hype, the numbers should also reflect the drama, not the hype. Otherwise that invalidates your reviews no matter how well written.

Without express we won’t see an episode til 31st and then 1 episode a day til ends on April 3 or 4 depending on if starting ep 26 or 27after 3 day hiatus. The calendar is up in pics and is a depressing sight for waiting. 😭

Nope. In my episode review I said the beautiful moment for me was mom heading for the plane. That the sis and daughter needed a break from her along with me. 😝🤣

The flashbacks are disturbing, but I appreciate the information. It gives the broad picture of how their minds work. I like knowing the details and backstories. They give me insight to their motivations and for me, better depth of the story. YuCi had to be drugged to appear the weak link. She was always the brains of the company (ChuXia). My new guilty pleasure is watching the battle of wits in this drama.

He was sad to say goodbye and to be disappointed in Elder Sima. On the rooftop he greeted his friends and they are getting ready for the new and improved Tengda where they all are owners and independent from everybody except their work family. Once he closed the old building doors his ties with Sima were done. He is happy with where they are headed.

It was a bittersweet moment for him telling his mentor his final goodbye. That’s why he left the picture of the unlucky ribbon cutting for the founding of Tengda.

I agree it is pointless and he creeps me out. However, I think she honestly caught his attention when she refused the assistant position to be a designer. She is an interesting aside for him and it’s serendipity that he gets to annoy Yu as well. He is intrigued that she found his company lesser to her goal than gratefully accepting any opening they had to offer.

Me too. I started rating episodes rather than commenting because it is safer turf. It is also a way to negate some of the fake negative views. I am in agreement that the fairest overall review is after watching every last curveball they throw at you til the end.

I have reviewed every shown episode and my baseline has been 8.5. I think that I have fairly rated each episode from a general viewers perspective without over hyping or underrating. It is annoying that episodes can be rated prior to showing and I wish MDL would make any effort at all to prevent this.

I completely agreed with you initially because I held him above being meanspirited. But once he did the wine spill at the wedding, especially after sitting there through Rong and company teaming up on her. I now no longer feel sympathy/ empathy for/with him. He is becoming a mean drunk when not glued to work and making himself not fit for anybody.

No. NS and TS framing HR to break SH’s ties to JW. Dad is convinced this is only way to break SH’s obsession with wife.
