KJ2025

For me this is character driven rather than pushing a specific pace and narrative. I am introduced to a variety of characters that tell me their story by their actions, interactions and history reveals. What you find redundant and glacial, I see as different lenses for the same event. Their changes in perspective and choices as they interact is what moves the story for me rather than them following a specific linear line to tell the overall story. The question comes down to do these characters compel me to even want to know or care about why they are the way they are or bother concerning myself with the choices they make? Is this cast good enough to make me feel for their characters whether or not I appreciate the overall story. This is the subjective choice every viewer decides. For me, I want to know if the brazen opportunistic thief gets out of her Oliver Twist scenario and actually makes it to America. I want to know if the Korean polyglot stays with his ‘father’ and finds a way past the guilt of the life taken in his stead. Why the juxtaposition of poor and rich lame girl? Where has lost hubby been for 13 years? How did the American journalist and Chinese spy even find each other? What are the next machinations of the liberation spy network after thief and assassin put a wrench in their plans? After that smirk from Sato while the building burned, I want to see his end and hoping one of these players get to do it. So I found these questions and characters interesting enough to keep me tuned in to see where story goes.

It’s not that the points raised aren’t legitimate. You’re quite adept with that. I just really wish you would balance your critiques with more positive ones. It would be a refreshing change for some positive added from your words rather than expecting my enjoyment to be diminished by the fault finding.

I wish I were that calm about it. I spent a lot of energy wanting to throttle him.🤣

We will both be much happier to see what happens in 9. 🤞hopefully.

If you are on ep8 more cursing will be required.😝😡

If you are on ep8…I am afraid it will not be a calming factor for you. I started this drama to calm from that one.

They are like Bill and Ted college version. 🤣😂

I wondered about that storyteller too, but google search says no and had place in cast as separate character…..🧐

That’s my question too. I’m wondering if special episode will show where he’s been hiding.

I agree about her evil vibe. She reminds me of Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter.

Yes The species they were fighting looked a lot like the creature here before they learned how to camouflage.

It looks like the creatures from Love on the Turquoise Land that came into being due to meteorite material blending with human and animal DNA.

That’s a shame but maybe another drama will be better for you. I like the peripheral puzzles from the tower so that holds my interest to see how the pieces fit.

It has an eerie vibe without being hide under the covers scary

Similar to Lost Tomb Series if familiar with those

He plays the protective father in Blossoms of Power. He gets to be funny there.

It is still unclear to what extent, if any, the role the emperor had with the poisoning. What was shown in earlier episode was a woman’s hand poisoning the cherries for crown prince.

Please rate episodes. They are already lowered to 4’s thru episode 18.😝🙄

Please rate episodes. Happy campers have lowballed episodes to 5’s.
