KJ2025 It was almost cute how YuYu asked the doc out to see fireworks. She did have to turn him down as she had plans with her friend, but she was sly sneaking the young group in with her after YuYu told her he wanted it private. The vr experience he had for them was a nice touch and kept it more personal like he originally wanted. His electronic mask was fun but he missed a real opportunity to appreciate the princess version of Dr Gu. His work partners appeal to his ego to attempt a tough project with an almost impossible time crunch to complete. He is so obsessed with being overshadowed by the younger designer that he takes the project on. He is working so many consecutive hours and haunted by nightmares that he is having difficulty determining dream from reality. He is being even more irritable than usual and ultimately collapses in the convenient store from exhaustion. His work partners then determine to get help from the younger designer but he caveats it with changing YuYu’s design. This of course doesn’t sit well and in an outburst of rage with Wu, YuYu fires him. He almost gets into it with his sis in hospital but Dr bro in law calms everybody down. Wu is at the bar with the neighbor girl and friend lamenting his work woes when they run into the younger designer. For once he seems bogged down by the workload and not his usual flashy self waving money around. This episode ends on a more serious note than usual. The actors continue to do a good job and show their nuanced abilities at having characters with more depth and less one note.

YuYu is making progress. He redesigned his original design to accommodate the client that lost their job. He did it with different materials and even kept the kitchen space open. Lin and Wu were amazed. So the uncle originally next door was responsible for ruining the sound proofing and his illegal modifications resulted in a fine he was charging his niece for.😝YuYu flubbed the money gift entirely, but his call to the uncle was an appreciated gesture. Now his neighbor doesn’t have to work at that beer place with the jerk men ogling her and commenting. I have no idea why he liked the Robinhood hat.😂🤣 a designer should have better style. 😂 His bro in law is living the life with a wife that handles the money. She is very like her brother in some ways. He is gifted 4 tickets to an amusement park and he gives them to his neighbor so she can go. She was gob smacked and took her friend out for the day. She looked like having fun on the roller coaster til she got off of it. 😂🤣 Wu and girlfriend were also there and somehow the day turned into shoe shopping, YuYu’s work day was canceled so he decided to take a bus trip and ran into Dr Gu. The first thing he did was trash the series she was watching by telling her the end. So when she was gifted a snack, she didn’t share.🤣😂 I wanted to see them in the village but it went right to the next work day. I hope they give flashbacks at some point or why did they bother showing them on the bus? He is back to work with a model of a Harley that seems to be the inspiration for his next design. The younger designer keeps popping in showing off his wealth but he seems rather shallow tho free with his money. I like how his neighbor has started greeting him. It is slowly making him more amenable to pleasantries so he isn’t quite as abrasive. They are stepping in to tell him to shut up before he ruins the pleasant vibe.😂🤣I do not know why the trip wasn’t included, but other than that misstep this was another enjoyable episode. It has been a solid 8.5 for me every episode so far.

His apology was Blu-ray of The Great Escape. No clue how YuYu persuaded her to get the fancy Tv and sound system but she enjoys her new Blu-ray’s tho not the one he gifted her. 🤣 He then gets a personal visit to Dr Gu’s office to take off the bandage. I enjoyed him stacking her nice bowl of tangerines on her desk leaving the top space open on his pyramid. She just had to finish the stack after he left.😂 Bro in law has started his mom in pursuit of Dr Gu as a daughter in law. She leaves her fan so that her son can come get it. 🤣🙄 Dr Gu is far from enthused and her new buddy refuses to help her. She ends up meeting with YuYu and unfortunately the fan was left in her other jacket pocket. She unloads her purse on the table and YuYu shows how his bag is far more efficient and she should get one like his. YuYu is in crisis because his client lost their job and has to cut 50k from renovation. He really doesn’t want to cut any corners but Wu wants his commission and working hard to persuade him to find a way to make it work with less cash. Wu gets in trouble with his girlfriend when the boss tells her he is dating two women. This ends up with the three of them meeting. His girlfriend tags the makeup and concludes they are innocent.😂🤣 Neighbor girl wants to learn how to coupon from them. I hope they teach her because she is circling her credit cards around to pay off each other and she really does need the help. When she goes shopping with Dr Gu later, I have to chuckle that the doc gravitated to a compartmentalized bag and reasoning the same as YuYu about how nicely it kept things in specific place. Cute neighbor girl wanted her stuff to all make friends in a big heap. 😂 YuYu decided on a very bright green cap and the gals caught him shopping for it. She sent the pic to Wu who returned one with him in the office actually wearing it. 😂 This show continues to entertain and the entire cast makes it fun from beginning to end.

Loved this episode.😂 The humor is well done. YuYu has ways of guilting people to get his own way. He is a master at that. His bbq coupon is burning a hole in his pocket and he can’t get any takers.🤣His family dinner.😂🤣 I enjoyed the munchkin and him bickering. He is not persuaded that veggies are truly good for him, but to his credit he gives them a try. His exchange at the convenient store and his reaction to the juice.😂🤣 Wu is a master coupon stacker. He truly deserves applause for keeping things affordable. 👏🏻YuYu braves a couples bbq place to get his meal after the veggie disaster meal with family. His licking of the yogurt top after neighbor girl called him out for his stinginess with his employees and his retaliation to Dr Gu with that juice choice.😂🤣 His need to apologize to Ms Gu when commenting about the car literally and completely missing the metaphor of the real conversation. The megaphone was a good way to find her. I have to give him credit for taking responsibility for his actions while still maintaining his innocence because he was referring to an actual car and not her. This is very well done with the cast and writers delivering a witty yet unexpectedly thoughtful at times story. It is intermingled smoothly and completely entertaining by them as a whole. Their characters mesh nicely and little by little you see a bit more of who they truly are and how they relate to each other. I am liking the budding friendship between the neighbor and Dr Gu. It provides more encounters with YuYu and Wu. Lol these names are making good Dr. Seuss lines 😂🤣

Today is YuYu’s bday and he has tried all day to get people to recognize it and say something. He first has to make amends with his contractor Sun who has had enough of his interference in the project and has refused to work for the day. I do not know how long these two have known each other but they share a bday. He notes the perfectly laid flooring in Sun’s house and has brought favorite items for Sun but “not” an apology.😂🤣 What turned into a thoughtful conversation was him commenting on how perfect the floor was in his home and that his clients would want that same quality in their homes. This set Sun back a bit because he knew he had been careless in matching the floor perfectly and resented YuYu calling him on it. This is where YuYu shows himself a hard taskmaster, but that he appreciated his contractor and wanted him to do the job he was capable of doing. His quiet bday celebration was interrupted often as his neighbor was having a hard time with her breakup and drank to the point she needed to go to hospital. Here YuYu returns the favor and stays with her. He quietly orders a new bday cake and celebrates there because he feels staying with the neighbor is the right thing to do even tho she considers him a creepy old uncle.😂😝 He shares his cake with Dr Gu as a thank you and next day gives her a banner for being the only one to wish him happy bday. This is kinda a poignant moment because there is a duality to him that makes him thoughtful but not appreciated because of his abrasive way of communicating. He has buried himself 12 ft under before he can get to what he is really trying to say.😂 So far I am really enjoying the cast and story.

We saw who the papers claimed was the terrorist of the game. Seigo took the rumor head on and claimed responsibility for Asuka’s actions and that backfired a bit resulting in their Angel’s bar getting trashed and Seigo injured. Asuka came back from her first win to find the bar a complete wreck and everybody gone. That made her question herself and she lost the next two games. Kid brother is pleased with himself for rocking the shogi world and is convinced his scandal reveal will kill any hope for a female kishi. He is fed up with the shogi world and relishing the chaos he has brought and wants understanding from his parents as to why he did it. The Angel tells Asuka she does not make people miserable because she plays and tells Asuka to slap Todo with whatever is bothering her and to bring him home. The three decide to push their way through this hell and focus on winning. Asuka dominates the next game but there is conflict because of the ‘attempted murder’ scandal. Here the dad confirms his own children the problem and the rumor false. Todo is suspended from playing indefinitely and Asuka is given green light to complete kishi test. He will play final game with her and retire. He shows very little emotion from being slapped by both his children quite publicly through shogi world. Stepmom shows up with pages missing from his book telling of his first family. There is no telling how that bomb is going to rest with Asuka. Stepmom always goes for what she sees as best move.😝 Todo is pleased with how things are falling into place and ready to see daughter kick father’s ass. The stepmom is a piece of work, even more so than the father. He reveals his jealousy of his daughter’s talent and love for his first family and she kept that truth from everybody. I am curious how this fallout will effect both Asuka and Yuna. What role are they going to allow women in shogi? When Yuna sees the pettiness and level her fiancé will sink to in the game world she loves, is she really going to stay with him? He has proven he has no respect for her, the game or his parents. I would really like to see an alliance with Asuka and Yuna with them tossing the petty, jealous men in their lives aside. I enjoyed this episode and hope they finish this drama well.

Todo Seigo gets the dust off his shogi board and starts plotting. He saw Asuka playing her dad’s game and said she could kill him. He starts a search on his phone about her and makes plans. Asuka is probably the hardest worker but because she is rather antisocial, she is the first they want out. She is set up for theft and somehow the stepmom gets contacted by the police. She sends little brother with the evidence that will clear her but has brother got her to sign an ndr about who she is and a promise to never contact her father. She is so grateful to be out of jail that she agrees to it. This was not a smart move but I don’t blame her. She did find out from a detective that they had the recording that proved her innocence. She found out her ass of a brother tricked her and the stepmom tries to buy her off. I love that she tosses the money and that even tho they were successful with their contract, she doesn’t need anything from them and can’t be bought. I think this was the first time stepmom realized Asuka had more character than she expected. She saw the challenge and was keeping the knife video for a scandal later. I did like that Asuka basically told them to kiss off as she strolled past them and the shower of money. She still mourns her mom but knows she’s about to be kicked out of her home. She revisits the spot where she and her mom enjoyed the view and made wishes. She was a good daughter but her father was an ass and her mother died pining for him because she loved him unconditionally. Asuka felt that way for her mom. There is a scene of dinner at the stepmom’s place and it is elegant but cold. When she told the fiancée her shogi days were over and she needed to serve the family I would not have smiled sweetly and agreed. I would have headed to the door and told them sayonara. As Asuka is considering ending it all, Todo shows up and shows the knife to her and wants to know why she hates her dad. Since her dad eliminated their existence, she wanted to return the favor. Todo revealed his mutual hate for her father and said the only way to remove his existence was through the game. He wants them to team up and she’s too tired. He tells her she has a job to do and then the nut jumps off the building to the garbage bin😂🤣I think he found it to hurt more than he expected.😂 He tells her she has a new purpose to live…to play shogi. When she drops him she finds a rook piece and she sees that as a sign to play. Game on to beat dad.

I rewatched this with better understanding now that I’ve watched through episode 6. Young Asuka wanted to be like her father and play shogi. Her goal was to play better than dad. He was rising through the ranks and just got a title. But after that huge win, he spiraled with several losses. During this time Asuka was showing promise as a young player. One day while waiting for him to get home, she finished a game on his board. While she was all smiley at the door with her shogi certificate, he was pissed off she had the game finished that he couldn’t solve. He threw her bodily out of the room and told her not to touch his board. Later he told her to stop playing. He then served his wife divorce papers. After they separated Asuka still tried to play, but her sick mother could not deal with the slapping of the pieces, so Asuka tossed her game in the trash and determined to take care of her mother. The ass of a dad married the family that would stay in his shadow, forsaking the one with the promising player that would surpass him. He wanted to squash her ability rather than be in her shadow. This is the man that thanked his family for playing so well. It was not the family that loved him, it was his family of choice to stay lesser than him in the shogi environment. His book about family, praises his second wife and son and has no mention at all of his first family that supported him through the ranks. The production team did an excellent job mirroring mother and daughter pouring through his book looking for mention. They were non existent. Her mother is denied an audience with her father because of step mother. So after her mom passed, Asuka had intentions of stabbing her father and letting him die on the board at the competition. She is stopped and told that the knife she had would do no damage and simply make him a bigger star. That the only way to kill him was with shogi. Asuka goes to a board by observers and slaps down the pieces before the actual players do and leaves. Here she shows she has the potential her father wanted to have. She is in the zone and beats him with his moves. It isn’t noted til the actual match is over. She has met her shogi mentor but hasn’t realized it yet. After a second time watching, the dad’s actions are even more appalling. To refuse to recognize talent because it might overshadow your own is criminal when it’s your own child. He wanted her hidden not celebrated, and he came damn near close to doing it.😝This is truly an excellent drama that deserves more attention.

Muyu and Changhe head to homeland and meet with his sister. They know that 93 Blood River assassins assisted Wushuang city to kill and get sword manuals. 18 remained and these were being hunted to silence how WuShuang really got their sword techniques. Muyu is definitely on a mission. The prince confirmed with arrow boy that they took info from their boxes that wasn’t burned. While faked, it was actually just more detailed with real intel. Arrow boy pledges his allegiance to the prince and sounds convinced that Muyu would not have a chance against the imperial guards. He can keep telling himself that. Muyu has a meeting and the 18 Blood River retirees are all ready to fight to the death if necessary. They do not claim guilt but the leader was not happy that this was over sword technique manuals. Muyu lets them know his umbrella appropriately has 18 swords, one for each of them The leader admits later they could not have defeated him and Changhe closes the door to be sure they know Muyu is not alone if they want to push it. Muyu is not happy with the news but he knows the three from soul Reaper hall put out the contract. He also found out that they were willing to take heavy losses to get the sword techniques and the heir. Muyu does not hold them guilty, but as with all other contracts he wishes they would pay more attention to know who is paying for contract rather than bottom line when done.😝 In Na’an he meets up with another to determine if intel is real or not. It is confirmed to be real and that the new one was more detailed with correct info. The Miracle physician doesn’t think Changhe is going to show so she elaborates in detail why she prefers Changhe to Muyu. Needless to say Uncle Zhe is not pleased and plans to kill the new patriarch.😝Changhe introduces the one Muyu cares for the most from homeland. This was also unexpected news. She is all kinds of jealous which is deserved since that is what she expected to try with Muyu. In preferring Changhe. She has renamed the clinic combining their names and telling Muyu he owes half rent.😂 He takes it in stride and gives her her favorite osmanthus cakes. He even smoothly gets over with brining another, and younger girl back.😂 she can’t hate him for the reasons. Changhe goes shopping and who knows how much he spent but he tipped 500 taels.😂😝He has fish and birds and a whole assortment of packages he planned to organize himself. He definitely plans on living in comfort while he is there. The apothecary owners share a look as they are most frugal in spending. When Changhe has fireworks and announces its opening a man challenges how it compares since the owner used it for women to buy high priced items from handsome man. He wants to know who is in charge of the clinic and Ms Bai pipes up that she is.

RuMu makes his way to WeiYun’s house with his father. She is resentful he was brought there, but RuMu makes his plan clear. Do whatever you want to him. She does make a good strike, but she is not cruel by nature. Even if Quan JingTing is a repentant form of himself with the darkness removed, there is a point where even if you have made peace with your God, it does not remove the consequences for choices made. His heinous acts to that poor dragon alone made him fit for hell, but he compounded that with literally thousands of demons making a river of blood. He owes a blood debt to them. I see the wisdom of the blade choice for RuMu….his snow was beautiful. She has the relief that he is healed and needs no longer feel indebted. He claims he will become the soldier but not looking particularly enthused. That wave goodbye to WeiYun. He makes it look like he’s accepted them heading off on separate adventures. WeiYun still thinks they should part though she almost gave in with the hug. RuMu then takes his father to the clan prison and sees his father locked up. He makes no effort to say a word and simply walks away. We then see QingTong and brother at the market..coming ever so close to FuGui. He even senses her but sees the brother he never met. I was relieved that she saw through her brother’s plot. He paid the stall person to lie to her. He set everything up to weave the perfect setting for FuGui to be proved dead. But her stubbornness to see his body is his undoing and her hold on faith. The sword training with second prince shows a much lazier FuGui but one still wise to cheating. That thump with the stone was funny. RuMu has formed himself a disguise to persuade the foxes about water orb. His disguise as an astrologer and actions are very like Seo In Guk’s Nam HanJun character complete with dance and hocus pocus fortunes. 😂🤣I laughed out loud when he is introduced to YunFei’sRoyal master.🤣😂 He gets his celestial self added thanks to his cousin and they are comparing notes about the prince and water orb. The prince seems lacking in many respects, but FuGui thinks it is this very docile and simplistic view that allows the orb to reside in him. FuGui thinks he might have the potential to absorb it. RuMu is far from convinced. He saw first hand how WeiYun turned beserk and he also knows it is her clans treasure. It does say something that WeiYun was looking for a cure for him rather than her clan’s greatest treasure. She knows he is cured so will she now change her focus to the orb? 12581 has pulled off the gloves and told her she can’t leave the city. He showed her how to steal other’s powers and she flatly refused and forbid him from doing it—way too late sis. how do you think he has trapped you there? I like how Fu Gui senses she is ok but being detained for reasons unknown. He has faith she will handle it and they will meet. But he also gets RuMu interested in looking for her. Now that she knows where the spot of joy and sorrow is, she spikes some food in return to loving brother and makes her way there. She talks to the tree guardian and warned that she must be able to find true love to get the seed to sprout. If she fails the test with her hate, she will be stuck there forever. It is Deja vu going back to tree seed. This is a unique spot where all three parts mesh. Since she said yes, she is immediately hit with the seed and forced to face her dark side. Brother can’t get to her now.😝

The episode opens with the villagers escaping and returning home. They want their savior to go with them but he has other things to do. Yun Fei is damn cute in both forms. Xue yang shows up to challenge the bandit leader. The leader has learned to use the orb as an artifact and as the battle increases FuGui enhances the spear and the orb is taken from the bandit. Yun Fei is in fox form and swallows the orb. FuGui tries to persuade him to spit it out, but it is long swallowed by his ‘poor puppy’. General Li is impressed with Fu Gui’s skills and invites him to serve in her army. He politely declines saying how he and his dog stick together and aren’t leaving but is interrupted by the human YunFei who is all for joining.😂 His father has sent representatives from the clan to bring the prince home. He complies, but only if his new friend lantern Wang can join him. Fu Gui comments how the designs on the wall are of dragons. The king says after the decline of the dragons his clan achieved the honor to replace them. Everybody is scheming to get YunFei to literally cough up the orb. Fu Gui has paid attention and knows the prince’s life will be in question if they forcefully cut it out of him. He activates YunFei’s demonic power and the want him to teach the prince how to cultivate it. He pretends lack of interest which appeases the sky king who isn’t sure of FuGui’s intentions. So the young prince keeps seeking him out. He wants to impress the lady general. He has the mistaken notion that his chosen teacher can give advice on impressing women.🤣😂 Yun Fei shows up with a gift for the general but she declines. As the fox he tries to act out where they first met but he fails dreadfully and she ices him and throws him towards home.😂 12581 has stepped up to give QingTong cultivation guides. The Fox clone questions this choice, but he is convinced he has things handled. He shows her a memorial for FuGui and even throws in the truth about RuMu and the sword meridians. He persuades her to get stronger first which is inadvertently a good thing for her. She does need to hold her own better to truly avenge FuGui. Disciple Feng talked HongYe into visiting RuMu. He is living as isolated as FuGui used to but is drowning in alcohol when not fighting. Opportunity presents itself to send RuMu to the border. RuMu agrees but wants his father to come along. This will bring him and his father full circle in the desert. I think he is trying to find a way to atone for his father’s deeds so WeiYun can consider him. Waiting to see what the cousins come up with. 12581 tries to pacify QingTong with gifts. What he doesn’t know is lantern Wang made the lantern. QingTong recognizes his handiwork and knows where he is. Big mistake fake spider soldier.😝🙄 He is annoying me less since she knows the truth. Very nice slap administered for his lies but she apologized. He still greatly exaggerates his place in her heart. RuMu and dad are heading back to the desert. Curious if the cousins will work together or separately in dealing with the orb. The irony in this episode is XueYang is looking for the one who saved her in the desert not realizing she has met him. The cute one that isn’t too bright.🤣The players are getting lined up to meet in the desert. I am looking forward to see how they grow together and what fate has in store for them. I am hoping the tragedy of the parents will reap happiness with their children.

Fu Gui is now lantern Wang and a favorite with the local children. He makes fish lanterns. He wants to find the water orb but the binding spell keeps him limited in travel. The bandits have taken advantage of a small village and has them jailed. Fu Gui gets himself captured to find the bandit lair. We get the backstory of the fox’s big brother. He tries to spare his brother by staying in puppy form. I am not clear on how his brother died, but now they are making second son be in human form. It seems the fox clan found the orb WeiYun dropped and counted it as their treasure. The bandits robbed them and they want the prince to get the orb back. The two who went with him sold him to the bandits. Fu Gui finds himself with lady leader. He manages to keep his honor but gets tossed in with the hard labor group. The small dog that trailed him turned out to be the second fox prince. He missed his older brother and Fu Gui reminded him of his brother with the vase of flowers and kind disposition. They both find themselves tossed with the bandits. The prince is still with the leader trying to hide.😂 Fu Gui finds a leopard whose meridians were sealed. He unblocks them and gives instructions how to free themselves. As a group they bow to him because they are grateful. 12581 captures the messenger QinTong sent to cave. He is not to tell her that the soldier is still alive. His bargain with the black fox is to block all escape routes from QingTong and keep her by his side. Can’t wait to see how she outmaneuvers him. This episode has both couples separated and dealing with individual problems.

Wow! Right when you think the damned alliance can’t possibly sink any lower, they do. They have sealed FuGui and banished him. HongYe tells him to go enjoy the world.😝 I am damn tired of his wallowing. He still chooses wrong. He thinks he singlehandedly must be the one to deal with the alliance and black fox. He has truly learned nothing after all this time. He has tossed what’s most important for 20 years and now continues the trend. I am so disappointed in his character, He did honor FuGui’s request to have his meridian given to RuMu. This was a big procedure and knocked him out for ten days. He is not happy with his cousin. FuGui left him a snow sword that I thought quite appropriate. He refused it at first but came to accept his cousin’s request and is training with it. He went to see his father and asked the same thing we all are…Why are you still alive?😝🤬 He is putting on a good act at how everything he did was due to the black fox. If you watched the other series, you know that they can’t force you to do what you are not actually inclined to do. So RuMu was right to call him out for lying and I appreciated him telling his dad not to call him by name or son again unless he wanted killed. FuGui’s goodbye to his real father, the butler, was nicely done. He was sent on his way with the butler’s blessing and a promise that things would be better and he will know happiness. He recieves a message from QingTong telling him she has something urgent to do and she will meet him. Turns out 12581 is a complete psycho obsessed with 12580. She has been his savior for ever, so it is not surprising for him to have hero worship. But the psycho lengths he is going with to imprison and fool her…well even she isn’t buying it. He has gained ten days knocking her out and has fortunately got rid of that god awful white hair. He thinks he will be her new soldier boy, but he has always been a weak, overly dependent person, so why on earth does he think he can fool her? He has even poisoned himself to look ill to manipulate her feelings and put her in protective mode over him. They are going to stretch this out too long but hopefully she will learn something valuable with this separation. I want her to kick her ‘brother’s’ butt and tell him to get a life.😝I am not sure how she will break ties without killing him, but like FuGui, she will figure it out. Since he got on my nerves with his first psycho look at her, kudos to the actor. But sorry dude, I’m going to hate you completely in this drama.😝 we see FuGui in the desert and he hears the tale of the beserk dragons and the water orb. I enjoyed the sand drawings and thought that a nice, unique touch to the storytelling. He hears that a bandit group has found it which is why there is chaos brewing and Fu Gui is investigating. RuMu has accepted that he has things to do and now that the borders are a mess thanks to his ever loving father 😝he is going to take care of business. It is nice to see him in action without spitting blood or being exhausted. This episode was well done by the cast and despised by the viewers for a lot of it. The alliance is long past wearing thin and we are tired of the duo failed fathers and now adding the psycho brother to the mix. There were some nice high moments but we need to see our boys get some respite from WangQuan crap. Family doesn’t claim them, so let them get more than just space away from family. We want happy endings with our guys and their beautiful demons.

Wei Yun was lost in a dream where RuMu was dead and she was forever indebted. Qingtong broke through her conscience to bring her back and the dragon did;Elle’s the clone essence which FuGui captured. The scene with the butler was a father/son moment. The butler told him the things he needed to enjoy and gave him his father’s sword. What he learned is Wei Yun had been searching for a means to cure RuMu and learned that if she had Fu Gui’s sword meridians she could cure him. They return to WangQuan manor where the faithful were being suppressed and starved. FuiGui frees them and then gets his father and returns to the manor. Jingting shows up with his alliance audience and then they get surprised by the release of the Fox clone. FuGui kills the clone under the plaque exterminate all demons. His uncle’s dragon arm is revealed and all the lovely Fox darkness comes pouring out. The entire alliance was infiltrated by demon darkness. FuGui takes his father’s sword and dispenses it all with the heaven earth strike. Do these sorry bastards get on their knees and thank him? Hell no! These idiots now see just cause to destroy him because he now has the capability to fulfill the prophecy. And like HongYe wanted FuGui to kill his spider, they want HongYe to kill his son. Fu Gui was so aware of what their reaction was going to be that he actually chuckled as they brought their justice to him. Fu Gui is spot on with the fix. He has asked his father to remove his sword meridians. This will appease the ingrates of the alliance and heal his cousin. He is leaving WangQuan manor a blade that can defend them. He is now free from their crap, and RuMu can handle his dad. This is a win/win tho it appears a great loss. He isn’t giving up anything. He is freeing himself to be who he is supposed to be. And now, without the meridians, he is free of his father’s commands. What one can hope from this is that HongYe might be given an opportunity to actually try being a father. He will most likely waste the opportunity, but it will shut up these arses that whine about the ‘good of the people’ over family ties. I surely wish that beautiful strike would have purged those alliance members from the face of the earth rather than save them. But dammit, FuGui values all life— even theirs. It is true that angels save fools.😝I am hoping when he meets RuMu and QingTong at the frozen pool that he will tell RuMu of his gift. Since it is a done deal to prevent the prophecy, RuMu will hopefully accept them. Jingting is not dead yet so there is no telling what the fox will use him for now, but hopefully he will die a miserable death very soon. Maybe after that, Wei Yun can set her hatred for the father aside and accept the love of the son. I am tired of these fathers wrecking their sons’ Iives and want to see some happiness dammit.😝🙄 This episode shows that even when they get their way, are needing rescued because they got their way, and peace is restored with the rightful leader, that damn alliance still cannot set aside their prejudice and fear to do the right thing. It must always include suppression of some sort rather than flat out loyalty. The cast did their roles too well. I am fed up with the lot of them except for the handful that are not pretentious idiots. 😝

This was a poignant episode on several levels. We see that deer village is now raided and 12581 is being seduced by a fox clone saying his sister betrayed him. Quan JingTing is feeling powerful but is reminded by those who know him that it is a house of cards waiting to collapse. The saddest thing the butler said was that HongYe needed to be part of YiQi alliance. This is everything that is wrong with him, That aside, the butler is currently the bravest man in WangQuan. His love and loyalty for generations of the family is so evident here. Madam Yin has shown up in person to tell FuGui what’s been happening. He gives her permission to sell his location and that he has no dealings with spider cave. This creates quite a crowd to come to him. There are plenty of demons wanting revenge. Seems the men here are as worthless as in the alliance. It is clear this one in black is Rumu’s dragon. Her heart has been taken over by hate and FuGui feels it is ok to kill her. When his fire is blocked by his cousin, the fox smiles through her seeing RuMu’s love as a weakness to exploit. I am hoping he uses his fire to purge the evil from her. Quan JingTing has seen Qing Tong’s brother and I am sure he will plot plenty very soon. I highly respect the butler preventing HongYe from kneeling to JingTing. This is great respect as he candidly points out the lack of regard those around JingTing truly have. I am sure they all know how loyalty was respected by JingTing. He killed his most loyal disciple for his blood to get the sword. There is no benefit or regard given to care for his sorry ass. I can only hope he dies alone far away from the leader chair he feels entitled to. The butler hopes to make it to FuGui. I am not sure he will, but I am sure news of his efforts will reach him. Now to see what plans the cousins make now that RuMu’s dragon has entered the picture.
