If the audience getting interested after trying it, they might sign up for VIP to follow the drama airing. This activity has been done by other dramas as well, LYF2, Fox Demon, Story of Rose etc. Not just the fans doing it, the production also "open seats" for more audience to enjoy the drama. Xu Kai didn't spend money on hot search, instead he also bought "seats", this is more effective in calling people to watch the drama, rather than spending money buying hot search which is more costly and not effective. If I'm not mistaken, each LYF2 main casts reserve "seats" around 3k to 7k per person.

Yeah, applying modern mindset when watching ancient drama will lead to frustration. Couple with how cryptic and poetic they converse, it drives away interest due to hard to fathom what they are trying to deliver. For me this is the enjoyable part. plus seeing how they maneuver through restriction in order to live is really refreshing.

Low rating due to lack of romance and some of ancient dialogues and ettiquate are hard to understand. For me, this is enjoyable. It has more depth than just a romance.
