If you support both, just highlighting both credit is enough rather than saying the other will be benefited from the other party which is demeaning.

His turbulence path as actor does not mean he's a failure. And by saying 7 always had the luck is also means she got backer that ensure her success which equals to looking down on her effort. Xu Kai's path was harder does not means he's inferior from 7. And 7's path has always been successful does not mean she had it easier and does not mean she's superior.

Normally SVIP applied on premiere day only, the rest of schedule will follow normal time which is 8pm. But in Xu Kai's case, SF6 was having SVIP for all their 36 eps. So SF6 suffer low heat and low view counts. That's why Xu Kai's fans protesting this time for ABAY. Tencent has been doing dirty operation on Xu Kai's drama since She and Her Perfect Husband.

As of now Tencent already changed the starting time to 20:00. Seems like the fans' protest are working. But still need to watch it out on 2nd July in case Tencent did dirty operation again.

Like Xavion15 said, the plot too jumpy for YZM part. They just remembered him towards the end of the scriptwriting process. But if they follow the book and the summary described as per book, would you and those dissappointed below come to watch this drama? In other words, put Xu Kai as guest role if based on the book, not the ML. He was described as ML but his part is not well handled. The plot of his father is like people jumping on train last minute to catch the journey.

The clues lies in YZM's verbal conversation. It's hard to pull the audience with sudden bloop bloop scenes. Can you remain invested with the story with just people storytelling you like a raconteur? Proper scenes needed to be shown. Otherwise don't include it at all.

yes, the problem lies with one dimensional script writing. the writer didn't write parallel events during the early stage that will support the later plot. she focusing event by event plots without preparing the next stage thus resulting with sloppily added scenes and hasty ending. In the early stage, it focus too much on the Xin family-MCH's 1st BF relationship without developing the next plot. this kind of scriptwriting only suitable for 10 eps or so series, not suitable for series with 30+ eps.

I couldn't finish Ruyi either. Though the Empress becoming villain is actually in line with how she and Emperor ended up estranged in later episodes but it feels like the core for the hate later on is not strong enough. Unlike in Yanxi where the core for the hate is due to years of affection and obedience.

Court Lady and Yanxi Palace are his company production dramas so you'll see a lot of overlap casts. He Fengtian, Nie Yuan, Hong Yao, Wu Jinyan, Bai Lu, Wujiayi, Wang Yizhe, Zhang Nan, He Rui Xian, Liu Min Zheng Kai are all same company with Xu Kai.

Looking at the 2 trailers today, Wujinyan really suit ancient temperament. She got some settled feeling there.

the destroyed documentation of her really in line with the legends that said Emperor hated her. Thus how her story ended in the drama pointing to that way also. Only Empress Fucha and Consort Ling were buried next to Emperor's tomb which also followed in the drama where we can see Emperor only cared about Empress Fucha and Consort Ling. I'm not saying everything is as per drama but the writer is really genius in making up vague facts logically in line with real history.

ML has much more scenes than the 2nd couple in the scenes shooting sheet. There's a scenes sheet during the filming that fans keep. Leading actors need to have at least 500 scenes, 2nd leads onwards avg 200-300 scenes. It's requirements.
