No problem. I had my own dissatisfaction too and most my choice of dramas are those unfavoured by many. Your definition of poor choices might be opposite for me. But I can't control anyone. 🤷

That never happen to him though, 10 ratings are mostly those traffic actors fans. Those are really fan wars.

Rather than fan war, it might be just closet hardcore haters. The guy is low key, and fans barely had friction these few years.

I'm informing you this because is precisely  because of this harmless remarks by fans that caused artists being attacked. It was interpreted as being arrogant and looking down on actors. How many times 7 fans being in war with Jing Boran fans, Wallace Cheung fans, Wang Kai fans? It is precisely because of this harmless remarks. If you support both, just highlighting both credit is enough rather than saying the other will be benefited from the other party which is demeaning.

Just so you know, by saying "But I’m sure this time it will not happen so because our Lady Luck (tansongyun) is with him." is a sign of arrogance from actress fans that always landed with fan wars. His turbulence path as actor does not mean he's a failure. And by saying 7 always had the luck is also means she got backer that ensure her success which equals to looking down on her effort. Xu Kai's path was harder does not means he's inferior from 7. And 7's path has always been successful does not mean she had it easier and does not mean she's superior.

He didn't sign for capital so basically he's vulnerable and easily sabotaged. Plus his company is using him to help other colleagues get work so he got no one on his side. Capital and company will protect those who signed with them, so even if their dramas flop, the capital will ensure the result being output as "successful". Because this is their investment. Meanwhile for Xu Kai, even if he didn't have capital for back up, his company should be responsible to protect him as he is under their contract but his boss is bias and didn't like him because he refused to do crook marketing that his boss usually do so this left him on unfavorable side with the company and the capital. Hence, he is easily sabotaged every single time. That's why you can see so many posts mocking him as failure, those are brainwashing marketing to sabotage his image as actor.
