Most highly rated dramas on MDL are romance-driven with strong CP and massive fandom. Dramas with genres like crime, family, suspense rarely score high because niche audience pool.

After watching ep9, I think Chen Hui didn't really know or feel their love. Maybe both of them were busy working. I think Chen Hui is much closer to his grandpa than his parents. After seeing his father closely taking care of him then he feels he overlook something about both of them.

All this while we thought Chen Hui successfully evade his dad so far, what if in actual his dad already ahead of him....?

in Moonlit Reunion, Wordless Book rarely appear in trailer. how about the drama? full arc, even more screentime than XK. in trailer, of course they will show ML and FL more. will investors pour their money if they knew ML is missing?

If they watch properly, all the scenes were weaving well to establish the plot. if most scenes focusing on XK, I doubt they will be able to produce compelling plot.

the whole scene was intense and heartbreaking. it can be seen he collapse from losing control of the situation. Kai's acting here made me speechless. just wow.

actually betrayed him twice for this drama. obviously his agency got some hands in it. otherwise how could the production easily trampled him. when the filming starts, it was harmony, based on the information posted, there's no problem when yxh posted xukai in front, zhou ye after him. it was wildly accepted that he's 1st and she's 2nd. there's no way to compete. then in middle of filming fans noticed the delayed of filming in xukai's part. they confronted xk admin, but they keep mum on it. that's where fans launched protest. many of them were on site monitoring the filming sheet, indeed the scenes not filming increase per day. based on their calculation there was no way these unfilmed managed to be completed by end of filming date. what's more suspicious is zy fans and marketing started promoting CP with 2nd ML, this increase further suspicion. by end of filming, the announcement was delayed. zy fans started saying it was delayed due to xk's scandal. but there's no problem to announce his next drama. fans suspected fl side trying to tear the billing after managed to make xk failed to film the remaining scenes. what's more the producer was so friendly with zy fans but he ignored xk fans. even a few days leading to announcement date, they kept tagging producer asking to control drama and reprimand xk fans. so in the end, it's obvious they managed to tear because she got same billed. this is definitely zy's team working with production and yuzheng side because how could xk give up easily. they stole the billing through reducing his screentime. at the end of filming, xk fans demanded production to just declare xk as guest and just give the 1st billing to zy but by doing this, they definitely won't be able to attract investment because 2nd ML does not have ML track record and investors won't come in.

Ep 6 today is so wow. I shouldn't be rooting for the couple to evade the arrest but unconsciously I'm so worried about them. The interrogation scenes were so nerve-wrecking. Chen Hui, why did you take this path...? You could have done better with that brain of yours.

i think it's okay, there's no jarring cut off scene like most of his past dramas and all the scenes so far contribute to the plot very well.
