I think this is cute and okay, but definitely not the best KBL I've ever seen. Episodes 1-3 were one step forward and two steps back, so I almost dropped it. Episode 4, which is called "Progress", finally had some progress. I guess I feel it is a little tropy with the high school theme, bullying, not affluent boy needs a friend, and clueless main lead who can't see that the kid who likes him is jealous. I don't think it compares to Semantic Error, the Eighth Sense, or To My Star (1 & 2), Those dramas made me cry. This one is cute, so far. We shall see if there is actually a moment in future episodes that rips my heart into a million pieces and then puts it back together again.

I have watched it and both endings could still be happy as opposed to a death situation.

Have you watched History 3: Make Our Days Count? That is the BL that threw me for a loop and I am still traumatized.

I just did a rewatch too and thought at least they tied it all up in a neat bow for Yang Seung Joo to not have a crappy ending. I wish they would make a season 2 for him with the faceless admirer.

I really liked how 609 Bedtime Story had a happy and a sad ending. I still haven't brought myself to watch the sad one though.

I agree. Oxygen wasn't super popular, but he did an amazing job with his character because he is good with a range of emotions.

Besides this is the fact that Supanut is an amazing performer. His acting is great and his singing is amazing in both Thai and English.

Don't forget that Way suffered the same abuse as the rest. Stockholm syndrome and a child's need for parental affirmation are strong in parent/child bonding. All of these "Tony's kids" will need years of therapy to recover.

I know, right? Everyone is hating on Kenta, but he is the real victim of Tony's abuse and his dependence on Tony because he knows of no other kind of affection. Maybe Pete tried to give him affection, but gave up because Kenta needed a parental affection that turned out to be super dysfunctional. Maybe Kenta actually has a trick up his sleeve....

I know, right? At least Supanut is one of my favorite artists for his acting and singing from other dramas. He can sing in English too!

He doesn't have to be great because all of the cast and plot are carrying this drama along.
