I’m currently on my 7th rewatch of the series…. I know it sounds unbelievable but I keep going back to it lol! Instead of getting bored from it, it’s doing the opposite and I keep going deeper into it

Having finished the drama, I wanted to see what fellow fans of this series were saying…. But I’m shocked! It has more negative comments than positive ones…. Where the hell did incest even come from?😂 what incest are people talking about? Am I the only one who watched the series with no thoughts about incest? Are you guys trying to roast the series because it’s becoming so successful and you can’t accept that? Even though I started from episode 8 and had to wait only 3 weeks, I was probably one of the most impatient audiences out here 😂😂 I rewatched the whole existing episodes 4 times until it was completed….. but oh MAN I can’t move on, I’m so addicted to it that all I’ve been doing recently are stalking the actors and rewatching all my favorite scenes.
This is literally one of the best masterpieces I ever came across….. heck I don’t even remember being this crazy about any of the dramas I’ve watched whether it was BL or non-BL and I’ve been in the drama fandom for over 12 years! I feel so empty and lost right now because Unknown ended😭😭 and I’m fighting the urge to rewatch it once again.
I do agree that nc scene wasn’t the best…. Probably because the actors talked about it openly and very interestingly that I ended up having a very high expectations…. If I had to compare, Kiseki’s nc scenes were much better but it’s not like I hated or didn’t like Unknown’s nc scenes… but that barely counts as negative for me because my main addiction for this series doesn’t only or mainly stem from the nc scenes…. It’s the ACTING!!!! Maaaaan can Chris and Kurt act!! They delivered even the tiniest expressions so well it left me breathless at a times, and speechless at some, with so many butterflies flying in my stomach… the angst and happiness I felt from it✋😭 nothing can top it! They are one of the best actors I’ve seen….i felt what they felt all because they were so good at delivering it. Another thing is the storyline…. Nowadays all I see in BL dramas are very cliche and overused tropes, tbh I’m kinda bored and stopped watching Thai BLs, I’m waiting for a decent one…. But thissss it has such a good storyline! Child neglect and abuse are not an uncommon thing in our society, it has happened and it still continues to happen all over the world…. So it’s not a fairytale or out of the world kind of thing!!! Being a kid himself and raising another two is definitely not for everyone…. Some would commit s**cide or even run away leaving everything behind…. but what did WEI QIAN DO???? HE NEVER COMPLAINED OR SHOWED WEAKNESS, STOOD HIS GROUND, always protecting his siblings and looked after them…. Reassuring them that they are safe and protected…. AND HE NEVER RECEIVED THAT KIND OF TREATMENT HIMSELF. He wanted what’s best for his family and wanted Lili And Yuan to receive what he did not from his parents. Growing up without parental figure is super duper hard but our Wei Qian did it🥲🥲 and he did it so bravely, that the younger two grew up so well. If I continue talking about it, it will be over 100 pages😂 I really wanna go in depth about all these but I don’t think you guys would care to read it😂 I mean we all watched the same series, ya’ll know what I’m talking about! You’ve seen those depressing scenes of them having difficulties while growing up…. All I’m saying is that it was beautifully portrayed and that made it such a beautiful storyline. Next is the chemistry/romance… huff I don’t even know where to begin…. It was dfjendlebeldwk so beautifully beautiful. It’s true that their lives revolved solely around each other so there might be a little confusion whether that love is romantic love or familial love (just like Qian was confused throughout the series)…. But seeing Yuan, having the same feelings for years and never giving up…. Even when he had to live abroad for four years, we can conclude that it isn’t just a familial love (plus Yuan said he dreams of doing things to Qian every night🫣) so this is clearly a romantic love filled with hunger and lust…. No where close to familial love. I loveeeeed how Yuan never gave up, he pined and yearned for Qian for years (which Qian deserves for all he did) Yuan was so caring towards Qian, his eyes were always on him (who wouldn’t want that kind of man and attention?✋😭) the transition of Yuan before and after living in the US was everything😂 he changed so much FOR THE BETTER OF COURSE!! He became so confident and started the push and pull trick on Qian…. Because seeing how Qian didn’t push him away nor deny him, I think he got the inkling that…. Qian’s feelings were changing. So what he did was draw a circle, gave Qian the space and time to figure his own feelings out without letting him out of the circle he drew…. Like keeping a distance yet still close to him. Every damn word that came out of that man’s mouth was so DAMN ROMANTIC!!! Like how he said “don’t worry I’ll be careful with you in my car” when Qian told him to be careful! I was gawking cuz it was so smooth yet very romantic 😭😭 those scenes killed me! Qiang being flustered and shy was ANOTHERRRR THING😩😩 he is sooooo adorable, despite his age. Every eye contact, every stare and gaze, every touch and every word that was said in the series….. ALL SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL! I’ve got nothing negative to say about it! Not a millisecond of it was boring… I even watched every opening and closing of the episodes without having to skip…. I’m that obsessed with it. About how fast they moved on to the bed… I saw a very valid comment about it…. But literally there are one night stands in certain series, that moves waaaay too quick, those aren’t really my thing but for me, I don’t think they moved fast…. I mean I’m on Yuan’s side😂 he waited ages for that night….. and it was not forced nor was it done in a state of confusion… like they both wanted it, they wanted that night. It’s not like Qian thought about their relationship right at that moment!! He had been thinking about it from the time Yuan left for America. He even admitted that he couldn’t live without Yuan😭 he was in state of “what’s right and what’s wrong” he didn’t want to make mistake, he was afraid of many many things one main point being Yuan’s happiness…. Although, I felt, Lili was left out in lots of the scenes😂 they were so immersed in each other that IT WAS OBVIOUS THEY WERE IN LOVE….. and poor Lili was left with San Pang…. Which is why they got together all thanks to Qian and Yuan😂🤣🤣 it was actually really heartwarming drama at the end how Lili said “we all deserve to be happy”✋😭 they do deserve to be happy and fu** all those outsiders’ opinions. Although in the series everyone was very supportive. Unlike in reality how some people are seeing this as incest? It was mentioned so many times (especially by Lili) that they were not blood related…. They intentionally put Lili’a dialogues… like “I was the one who let you in” or “you are not from our family” those words like…..? Some people can’t accept it when one series become more popular than their favorite😂 I’m going to pretend that’s why they are so worked up about this series!!!!! I’m so in love with this series that I can’t and refuse to see any plot holes😂😂 I really hope that they put Chris and Kurt in another show, cuz they have soo much chemistry! Everything felt so natural between them…. No awkwardness or discomfort! In one of the bts they even said there has not been a day where they haven’t kissed and it became routine for them😂😂😂 even in fanmeetings they are like “we kissed so many times in the series, one more time won’t kill us” they have the best fan service, so comfortable with each other, shameless and confident. It will take a while for me to move on from them, and find something as worthy as this 😭😭 I don’t want to move on, I’ll probably watch this 100 more times until the next year…. The OST!!!!! They are all good that I’ve been listening to them repeatedly, every single day! The acting, chemistry, storyline, cinematography, and the OST all 100000/10 for me!
Am I the only one obsessed with this series? I started this when ep 8 was out and since then I rewatched the existing episodes 4 times! I’ve been on IG and YouTube watching every shorts and reels, listening to their songs! Like I’m dying😭😭😭 I wonder how many times I would have watched if I started from when it started airing! I think this deserves 9 at least if not 10!!! Why is it 8.3?😭😭😭 do they not deserve it? I’m so blinded by the cp that I only see the series in a positive light! Like no offense but it’s better than so many BLs that has been aired or is being aired currently.
