It's a reverse harem situation. A very common trope exploited in anime to please a certain type of fetish. And why not? Some people like the idea of having multiple partners, it's why people read menage and quatre, and whatever the fuck they read. It is catering to fantasy. The author's fantasy, hoping to meet like-minded individuals.

I despise the Mary Sue. Where every guy falls for the same girl because she's so "remarkable". For sure, that is a Mary Sue trait. But on a deeper level - there are other traits I despise more. I can deal in this situation, especially since the girl is rocking ass and all the sycophantic fawning is at it's preliminary stages. Any deeper, and heads will roll. I will brandish a cutlass and mow them down. Fools. I only say I ship her with everybody jokingly. I, honest to god, "ship" her with Soon Hee too. But do I want Hye Jung kissing all these guys and gals? HELL TO THE Y TO THE NO.

On a further note, the love triangle is catering for the reverse harem type scenario, but since it's still socially "unacceptable" to openly endorse it - it's like a softcore version. The girl only gets with one guy. The other one is discredited. I can debate about this all day :D

Yes, Seo Woo is a bit much. We can relate as fellow commentators who've discussed this before. Bitchy, cardboard female cutouts are big pet peeves.
